A mosquito net full of holes and a room full of mosquitoes made for an extremely unpleasant first night. Even after putting (our own) tape over the biggest holes, we were kept awake all night killing mosquitoes inside the net. We killed around 15 in total, and got about 10 bites each. Beware room 3C! It's a mosquito breeding ground. Which explains the smeared mosquito guts on every surface. The hotel was fully booked, so we couldn't change rooms, and they didn't want to replace the mosquito net. Their solution was to plug in some anti-mosquito device, that thankfully worked quite well. The room itself was pretty rough: broken floor tiles, rusted faucets, hallway strobe lights, swelteringly hot and poorly ventilated, salty shower water, barely functioning toilet, etc. Breakfast was an hour late. The whole experience was rather awful. I understand it's a budget hotel, but I was left with the impression that the owner simply doesn't care to do basic upkeep or create a comfortable space for guests. And therefore I cannot recommend a stay at Blue House "Resort". Nice view though.

False advertising. Beware! On the website, they show the standard room (at time of booking and upon checkin, difference of two months!!!) as pictured below. In reality, this is a deluxe room, and the room we got was cramp and damp. Our room in particular had many issues such as mosquitos inside the net and plumbing issues. Even for a standard room, it was subpar. We requested 30% compensation and received only 5.5%. The manager even agreed that the room was falsely advertised! But that little bit was all they could do. Don't stay here if you don't want to be fooled! Apart from that, the staff was friendly and helped me when I got sick.

False advertising and poor maintenance – Would not recommend.

We stayed in 3 rooms for 3 nights, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The room we booked was not what we received, and while the manager admitted to the false advertising, we were only offered minimal compensation.

Two of the rooms had toilets that didn’t work properly, even after repairs. The rooms were extremely hot, and with loose mosquito nets, we couldn’t open the windows. There were also mosquitoes inside the bed nets, which made sleeping very uncomfortable.

The hotel has potential but needs significant improvements in maintenance and honesty in advertising. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend...
