An amazing place, i got there early today ready to have an amaizng time but my trip was interupted within two hours. The place was so serene for a good time for people who have come for a holiday all the way from USA. The welcoming was ok and this lady why did i forget her name lo she was amazing. She took as on a tour and didnt skip a place, we have not walked for long so she did justice on us and went slow. I cant realky explain the amazing landscaping that we came across and i was like i wish to be here till midnight to see the lights go on. We went to the roof top and ghosh this was my best capture. The view, the seats, the warmers, the cool breeze lo and a few people were working on cottages. I decided to check on the rooms as i felt this is a place to stay for some days. The price i would say is reasonable but unfortunately the rooms are so small and the windows lack a grill. Not decorative or attractive at all but i know nowdays we are addicted to air b and b and hotel rooms may not be impressive for long stay. Otherwise for short stay they are great. Back to conference, garden, swimming pool, fireplace, water fall all thrilling. The tour was over and we went back to the club where some of us were working on some projects. We had our lunch not really nice to much of mix hohos and tomatoes. After we were planning to spend two hours working on our computers and thereafter let it be a fun time. The DJ all of a sudden came and boom boom boom daytime music, no courtesy, no respect, no asking us to excuse and probably move to another place if he really needed this. We had to return our drinks and move out to lowlands in less than two hours. I feel bad I visited a promising place today, excited for a wonderful time. The serene environment was perfect for a holiday, especially for visitors from the USA. We received a warm welcome, especially from an outstanding lady who guided us on a thorough, leisurely tour. The breathtaking landscaping made me wish to stay until midnight to see the lights.

The rooftop was my favorite spot, with its beautiful view, cozy seats, warmers, and cool breeze. Despite some ongoing cottage construction, I decided to check out the rooms. They were reasonably priced but disappointingly small and lacked decorative window grills, making them less appealing for long stays. However, they are suitable for short visits.

The conference area, garden, swimming pool, fireplace, and waterfall were all impressive. After the tour, we returned to the club to work on some projects and had lunch, which was a bit too heavy on peppers and tomatoes.

Just as we planned to work on our computers before relaxing, the DJ started playing loud music without any courtesy, disrupting our work. We had to return our drinks and leave within two hours, feeling disrespected. Despite loving the place, the lack of consideration spoiled...

Tucked away in the heart of Meru’s untamed beauty, this hidden gem blends wilderness charm with modern comfort. Perched beside a gentle, murmuring river, the lodge offers sweeping views of lush greenery, birdsong at dawn, and the soothing lull of flowing water at night. The restaurant needed for Pizza 2 hrs as they simply forgot our order (over their own lunchbreak) for 1 hr!! If they would have said "We just got our lunch, but your food will be ready in 45 or 60mins" we could have had already sorted our bikes and had a shower. Like that we waited in our sweaty clothes. They simply forgot and came up with all sorts of stories... We had then to remind them about a discount for that long wait - and that was difficult! Rooms are good, well equipped, good wifi, hot shower. Reception...

This is the place to be, for family day out, chilling on the weekends, birthdays, evening parties...you name it. The service is organized, place is clean, meals are sumptuous and the environment is crazily appealing.
