Having visited Lowlands Hotel several times, I've consistently noticed the hotel’s commitment to cleanliness and upkeep, which truly enhances the stay experience. Rooms and common areas are always well-maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

However, I noted a couple of areas that could be improved. First, investing in an ice-making machine would be beneficial. Currently, the ice cubes provided appear to be roughly broken pieces, possibly chipped from a larger block, which feels a bit inconvenient and out of place in such a quality setting.

The second, and more significant issue, is the entrance from the slope. The current setup requires a sharp turn, forcing vehicles to slow almost to a stop. This can be risky, especially with cars speeding up the slope from Mitheru right behind. A redesigned entryway could significantly enhance both safety and ease of access.

All in all, Lowlands Hotel is a good place that consistently delivers on cleanliness and comfort, but these improvements would make it an even...

I have only benefitted from their conference package and therefore have not slept there but I can tell you a few things. The staff is friendly and welcoming, they have a well maintained pool that's clean. Their food is wonderful and delicious, it's close to Chuka town and Chuka University therefore strategically located. They're pricey, for a night is 6000/- inclusive of meals so maybe you'll want to visit the place with a lot more cash in your wallet. Good for vacations as they have a kiddie pool that's...

I wanted to give this hotel 5 stars but I cannot. It is very clean. The rooms are nice and spacious. But, it is VERY LOUD and noisy. Management needs to consider that everyone does not like loud music and listening to people yell at the top of their lungs at 10:30 pm on Sunday night. I’m not saying that people shouldn’t have fun. But, you are not considering the needs of all of your guest. The next time I visit Kenya I don’t know if I would stay here because...

It's a newly built hotel in Chuka Town, friendly staff, food was better than expected, but could still improve, there was a issue with power, hope it is not an issue with their wiring. Also WiFi and TV where off. The restaurant/reception area/ floor's to the rooms are nice but need to have some decorations which would remove the Echo, it feels like one sits in an railway station. So sad with little improvement you can do much better.. rooms are nice and comfortable.
