The Regency Hotel — Hotel in Hawalli

‏I stayed at The Regency Kuwait for 5 nights in a Deluxe room during a leisure trip. While I truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the staff, my overall experience was unfortunately disappointing.||‏First, the room furniture was not clean. The sofa had visible stains, and despite the staff replacing it more than three times—and showing me over seven other options—all of them were in similarly poor condition. What made it more frustrating was that one of the staff members tried to convince me that the stains were "normal." When I asked if they truly found this level of cleanliness acceptable, he responded, “Yes, we do.”||‏Second, I was alarmed to return to my room one evening and find the door left wide open. After investigation, it turned out that housekeeping had left the door open for nearly three hours. This was extremely concerning, especially since I had valuable belongings in the room.||‏Third, I later discovered that the Qibla direction indicator in my room was completely incorrect, almost opposite to the one in the adjoining room. This meant I had been unknowingly praying in the wrong direction for the first three days.||‏Although the staff were friendly and the location is good, these serious issues with cleanliness, safety, and religious accuracy significantly impacted my stay. • I visited mandarin, An Italian restaurant on the beach for a romantic dinner. It was amazing experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ •The food was so delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I suggest they add soup for this cold weather And add a variety of fresh juices. •The service from Kalpana was appreciated. She was friendly, hospitable and respectful. Thank you Kalpana for your good service . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • As for the ambience, they did great creating breath taking place with soft music and all what we need for a romantic night. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ But I suggest you separate groups from couples as we were looking for quiet and peace . Some groups were loud and noisy .Guests must be reminded that this is a quiet area so everyone will enjoy the experience . I suggest also to extend the time for two hours and add options to pay more for extended time. Specifically couples who would like to celebrate. And would like to enjoy food not rushing to finish the food because we have limited time ! I also suggest a bottle of drink it would add a shine to that charming night.

Afterwards, I visited the lounge in the lobby for a coffee. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the quality of the coffee presented to us . The taste was horrible and very shameful for a five star hotel. They need to reconsider the quality of the brewery and the way of preparing it....

The atmosphere is calm during the day, and exciting in the evening with the soft lighting and music that transports us to the shores of Santa Monica 😭 🌙🌖💆🏻‍♀️.
