Hotel Onyx — Hotel in Bishkek City

I went in Onyx Hotel as part of my decision to visit one new hotel on each of my trips to Bishkek. Again an happy surprise. Hotel is clean rooms are spacious enough bathroom is clean. The reception, bar and breakfast personnel are efficient diligent and smiling. They all do their best to speak English and it is pleasant.|Breakfast needs improvement admin most not international hotels in the region. |The outside terrace can be good spot to drink a coffee and have a smoke, unfortunately when I was there it was pouring rain.|I recommend this hotel if you are in Bishkek for a few days and are willing to have all in house. |The only thing I regret it is a bit far from my favorite restaurants in town and I have to take taxis to...

Most of hotels in the city are not large and try to keep some standard level. However, this is not the case of Onyx. Most probably its profit is generated by the vicinity of the famous night club...||Pros:||- if anything, then daily duties of the housekeeping||Cons:||- no breakfast buffet - instead waiter brings you a set of eggs and cake. Only instant coffee available||- laundry service should be arranged additionally - no price list presented, no laundry bag available||- no minibar, only empty mini-fridge||- fine for dirty towel (!)||- not properly working shower head||- no parking||and, and, and...||So consider...

I stayed for two nights in this small and nice hotel. The hotel located in the heart of city Bishkek the capital on the Gorky’s street (the great Russian writer).||Hotel (and also rooms) was very clean, comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
