Ethno Chill — Hotel in Karakol City

Worst customer care experience I’ve had in all of Kyrgyzstan.

We came here for a day and really liked the room. We asked if we could extend our stay for another day. They told us the yurt with a double bed was already booked for the next day but offered us a yurt with two single beds instead. We agreed to the change.

However, after 3–4 hours, they came back and told us they had forgotten to take the booking properly and had now given the room to another group. Instead of cancelling the other booking or taking responsibility, they asked us to leave. • No priority given to existing guests • No professionalism and ethics

The yurt is beautifully decorated, private, and cozy, with thoughtful touches like multiple lighting options, a kettle, and even a heater to keep things warm. Breakfast was good, and the hostess was incredibly attentive and welcoming. There's also the option to do laundry, which is a great bonus if you're coming back from a multi-day hike.
