Benevilla Hotel & Cafe — Hotel in Alūksne

Went for a family dinner at Benevilla's restaurant. I wouldn't call it a cafe as it was more of a restaurant experience with ordering from menus and having food brought to the table after it's been cooked by the order. Anyway, first off we were greeted by a very lovely waitress who situated us in the kid's area (we were 2 adults and 2 pre school kids), which was partially separated from the main area. The tables were decorated and everything was neat and tidy. The furniture had a luxurious feel to it. Close to our table was a corner of kids toys - lots of options for different ages. Both our kids immediately went to explore the options while we could go through the menu and order in peace. The food was really tasty and portion size was appropriate. The waitress seemed very caring about our comfort. After the meal we tidied all the toys up, even though the waitress said not to worry about that (kids had made quite a mess!) Overall, we had a lovely experience and we'll know where to go for a kid friendly meal in Alūksne...

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The hotel was easy to find, and the staff are outstanding, nice in every way. We decided to have dinner here that night due to inclement weather, and it was to our benefit. The food was outstanding, the service was friendly, intimate, and kind, and the variety amazed us. I decided to have the little known Black Balsam drink after dinner, and they gifted me two of the glasses from the brewery. We highly recommend this facility. At breakfast, the owner approached us, handing us €22 and saying they had overcharged us for dinner the night before. I would have never known or suspected. We spent 5 days in the amazing Alūksnes and the accomodation at Benevilla made our stay perfect. A very elegant, comfortable, clean small hotel where you breath the warm atmosphere created by the owners Aina and Aivars., located in the heart of Alūksnes. The beauty of the hotel where wood is the king, the elegant rooms, the excellent breakfast and delicious dinners with homemade cakes and bio vegetables & fruit produced by the owners, the beautiful bar/cafeteria (divine Lavazza expresso and cappuccino) the kindness and cordiality of the staff together with the enchanting natural beauties of the town are the reasons why I recommend this fantastic hotel . ||I...
