Good value for money. Hotel is near the road from Sigulda to Cesis. No hotel signs on the way from Sigulda to Cesis, so watch for a bus stop sign "Melturi" and turn off the road there. Rather quiet, but trucks were going by and made little noise.||||Stayed in room 203 - got bedroom and sitting room with a TV. No fridge.||||Interior and furniture of 80's and rather worn out. But the double mattress was very comfy, bed linen looked and smelled clean and the bathroom was renovated. Water boiler was slow and we finished hot water before washing off soap. And were too tired to ask the manager for help. So beware.||||Paid for breakfast, which was served personally and was tasty. Each got sandwich with cheese, tomato salad and omelette with a meat roast. Cornflakes with milk were also available.||||Overall, we liked the hotel more...

Rooms are clean, light and big enough (we offered 1D (double) room, but we get a mini-flat: one room with a big double bed, a bathroom, small hall and a separate room with a sofa); comfortable bed, clean towels. ||There was very quiet...we thought we are the only guests in the hotel until we met all the other in the morning in a breakfast place. More than we bargained for. The hotel also had a playground for children and a free pool table. WiFi was available in public spaces, but as our room was close to it, I was able to use it from my room :) ||||Helpful and friendly staff, but they have difficulties with speaking English, so I had to use my very rusty Russian...
