Minhauzena Unda — Hotel in Saulkrastu pagasts

We got invited by our wedding parents there. Have been 4 adults and 5 children!||And it was fun for everybody.|Large territory to walk around. Especially exciting were wooden road routes to walk. Feel the real natural forest and breath wonderful fresh air. By the way we walked while it was raining! And have completed the middle route even with little baby in baby trolley.|It is for extra charge.||Museum was ok. Lots of Munhauzen things there. Starting from the history visually.||There is children playground in the territory. But again to pay extra for it. Strange, also parents accompanying kids should pay!||Good, but common bistro there.|During summertime - outside.|Prices ok,...

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel which was not that good. |If you have no car, you can forget this place as everything is far away from it. Only the beach is really close but not the most beautiful one compare to the ones in the south. |The environment around is nice with full of trees. |The room was clean but the noise isolation was not good at all (from the corridor and others rooms). |There were some good notes about the breakfast, but it didn’t worth it: Cold, not that much choice... Nothing special|People were not that much understanding especially when we made a remark about the noise...||So I would recommend this hotel only if you know it, like this no...

If you want value for money then don’t stay here. The hotel was very basic with the room only serviced once a week. The hot water was intermittent and there was not enough water pressure to be able to raise the shower head above your knees! The food was virtually the same everyday and was clearly the cheapest food they could produce. The grounds were very nice and the beach is only a 5 minute walk away. We were charged 80Euros a night for accommodation and 3 meals. If it was 40-50Euros then the quality would have been more acceptable...
