I had a bad experience at Marse. Awful breakfast and very unprofessional staff. I got married on August 5th and booked a night at Marse as part of our honeymoon. While booking the room, I called Nicole (a girl who works at Marse). Nicole was unprofessional: she used to laugh over the phone, did not reply to my WhatsApp messages, and refused to give me the room I initially booked over Gosawa (saying that the hotel was fully booked. Whereas we later discovered that we were the only couple staying at the hotel). She was even reluctant to provide me with the name of the Marse's owner!! We arrived, my husband and I, to Marse on August 6th and spent the night there. The room was good but the bed not so comfortable and the bathroom too small. The next morning, there was only an Ethiopian lady preparing the breakfast. None of the staff was there and we were alone in the hotel. The breakfast was very poor: biscuits and corn flakes were rotten, and eggs tasted awful. Plus there was an ugly smell in the "garden". When checking out at 10.11 am, there was nobody at the reception and, after calling Nicole, she informed me that we needed to wait half an hour for someone to serve us. Finally, we handed the keys to the Ethiopian lady and left the hotel. Horrible experience!! I would not recommend the...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marsé Guest House, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality that made me feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated, and impeccably clean, offering a blend of traditional Lebanese charm with modern comforts.
The on-site kitchen served a delightful array of authentic Lebanese dishes, with each dish bursting with flavor. The staff’s attentiveness and genuine friendliness. Additionally, the guest house’s location provided easy access to local attractions and cultural sites, enhancing my overall stay.
What truly set this guest house apart was the personalized touch and the attention to detail. Whether it was the meticulously arranged decor or the thoughtful recommendations for exploring the area, it was clear that the owners take great pride in their establishment.
I highly recommend Marsé Guest House to anyone looking for a cozy, culturally immersive stay with exceptional service. It’s truly a home away from home and a wonderful representation of Lebanese...
Read moreI had such a wonderful stay at Marse B&B in Anfeh, Lebanon! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming – especially Rebecca, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The whole team was so friendly, generous, and truly accommodating.
The place itself is awesome – perfect for couples, families, or really any type of stay. It’s just a short walk to the sea, which makes it even more special, and the surrounding region of Anfeh is breathtakingly beautiful.
What impressed me most was the genuine hospitality. On my second day, my brother and his wife joined me, and not only were they welcomed with open arms, but the hosts also invited them to breakfast free of charge. Even more, they kindly allowed us to hold their gender reveal at the B&B – also free of charge! That’s the true spirit of a superhost.
I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for comfort, kindness, and a memorable stay in Lebanon, Marse B&B in Anfeh is the...
