Four Seasons Halat Hotel & Beach Resort — Hotel in Nahr Ibrahim

I booked this hotel during Eid period in May 2022. My trip was scheduled to start on 30.04.2022, before one day of my trip (29.04.2022), I receive an email from my travel agent telling me that the hotel sent them an email saying that "they apologize for the mistake they did, but the room I reserved is fully booked (attached email), although had paid my amount in full before 1 week of my travel date. They didn't even refund me the difference between the rooms, saying that the prices are the same for both rooms (even though I had seen through booking.com that there was a difference in prices) so they were lying to me. The worst part of all this is that, on the 3rd night of my stay, I had a friend who wanted to rent a room for one day, and they told him that the room I initially booked was available. Why haven't they moved me to the room I initially booked I dont know. ||Moreover, when i first reach the hotel, I check the bathrooms there were no towels, I call the reception and asked for towels, after I called them 3 times, they finally got me the towels, but, when they brought the towels, they wanted to get in the room and check if really there were no towels!! It's like I was lying to them!!! ||At nights, mosquitos destroyed my life!! and ruined my vacation! I couldn't sleep properly the entire duration of my vacation! On the 3rd day, they gave me a machine that kills mosquitos, but at nights there was no electricity for the machine to work!!! ||When I booked my hotel, they mentioned that there was a pool, but the pool was empty.||not to mention the broken chairs, broken door knobs & broken toilet seats.||I stayed for 6 days, only once the room service came to the room and cleaned, and thats after I asked them to do it.||I went as a tourist thinking that I will enjoy my time at my hotel, but this hotel was the only reason that ruined my mood during my vacation.||I even checked out early my last day, and slept in another hotel.||My mistake that I should have asked for a refund earlier and left! This hotel was the worst experience I ever had in my entire life!!! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemies...

The staff is very unprofessional and not helpful at all! The rooms was full of dust and the toilet had used up shampoo bottles and smelled like sewage when we checked in, showing clear signs that they don’t clean the rooms. The TV was broken. They didn’t clean the rooms daily and only offered to do it upon request! They had a very loud party on the first night we stayed which lasted till 3 am so we barely got any sleep. The pool was empty all the time. We asked for an iron and hair dryer and we got only the hairdryer which they came to ask back for 30 mins later. When we checked out, my fiance forgot 2 new polos in the closet so we called them a few hours later to ask them to keep them safe for us but they said they couldn’t find them which is ridiculous! They kept lying to us as we called them several times to ask if they managed to find the polos, each time with a different excuse such as « the cleaning lady who was there is not on her shift today », « there were new guests in the room so we couldn’t check », « we checked while the new guests were there and couldn’t find them »,etc. At check in they told us they don’t have a safe and it’s better to keep our valuables with us…it felt strange at first as no one would normally enter the room since they don’t clean them daily, but after getting our clothes stolen we knew why they mentioned that! BAD BAD BAD Place to visit , At first it looks great until you go inside your room, I booked the most expensive room they have in there Hotel the bungalow definitely when you book the most expensive Rome you have to expect the best service, none of this was real the the service was very bad I had to ask for making up my room more than 6 times I had even to walk to the reception and I begged them to make my room the second day I didn't call them they didn't come at all , that wasn't all, it's just the beginning in the night we find bed bugs in our bed ( I have my baby boy 1 year old ) I reported this to the management unfortunately the management did not take any action they didn't even bother themselves to apologise or to come to check the room, our bungalow is next to the swimming poo I was surprised that every night they have either bachelor party or birthday partya very loud music very loud people they didn't allow us to sleep like if it's more important for them to rent the swimming pool for people to do bachelor party and ignoring the comfort of their main customers or the primary customers who books the most expensive rooms, I definitely do not recommend this...
