I went there to spend a weekend in one of the best summer destinations in all Lebanon, Ehden! We were lucky to find a room there because none could be found in the entire town. ||Situated just 7 minutes away from the Midan, the square of Ehden, the hotel's location is great, calm and peaceful away from the crowded square but just a few steps from it. ||The hotel was the house, transformed later into a hotel, and the transformation can be seen in its architecture. ||Not long ago, it got some rooms renovated, and those rooms are Great! Colorful, charming and look like the old time with a glance of modernism!||||Easy to find, having a sign saying "La Mairie Hotel", we reached the main entrance, typically the main Door of a traditional Lebanese Villa. ||The lobby is extremely well decorated, nearly a palace main hall! We entered and the staff welcomed us and we checked in. ||||They gave us a suite, 3 master bedrooms sharing a sitting room and a balcony overlooking the mountains. ||Those Rooms, as I said are renovated, clean and maintained well!||A small issue was that some of the light bulb were damaged and we had to ask for replacement. Unfortunately there is no minibar with all its nice contains, but we called the lobby and obtained a small fridge. There is a TV :) but who will use it in Ehden when you go site-seeing. ||Again, there are no personal equipments such as water boiler or glasses or mugs for tea or coffee. But you can order hot water and anything else you wish from the room-service. ||Toilets are modernized, clean and good looking, with towels changed every day and a hair dryer. Soap and shampoo available. ||||Beds are more than comfortable! New ones, shining white! You will have one of the best sleep ever, especially combined with the weather up there. They are clean and well decorated. ||||We had breakfast included, it was typically Lebanese with cheeses eggs and fatti and many other things. It was nice and had some variety. ||||We had a dinner there that was good, Lebanese cuisine, fairly good!||||Every meal the owner, a very kind Lady would pass by to make sure all is fine and chat with us, that is very nice of her!||||Overall it was nice, luxury could have been better, but it wasn't an issue! Paint job Oslo could be better and smoother, but it's fine. Closets should be maintained for sure!||||4 stars Yes, because it has great standards for the region and for really Reasonable prices! ||||For a weekend with friends, go ahead and book a head of time and one of the coziest hotels in Ehden, with a traditional Lebanese...
Read morethis hotel is composed of 2 parts. the 1st part is the old hotel with old rooms that may not attract many people to stay in although in some cases they have limited budget so it will be convenient to them.||The 2nd part of the hotel is the boutique hotel which is renovated and it is well maintained and this part is more expensive of the old hotel rooms.||Each room is totally different from the other one and the standard rooms are little small while from my side i did find the junior suite the best among them.||The breakfast is nice and composed of mainly Lebanese breakfast although i do recommend to include additional items like croissants...||One of the best characteristics that you may find in this hotel is 1st that the owners are charming people very helpful and kind and will give you all the attention that you deserve and are always ready to assist you in any demand you may inquire about and staff are always present ready to serve and this is for me one of the best feature of this hotel.||2nd most important is that this hotel is located within 5-7 minutes walk from the town square where you will find all activities and restaurants so in a way it is well away the noise and from other part is near all...
Read moreWe were a group of 12 friends and family members, all stayed in different room types. Location is 8 minutes walk from Medan where all the action is where plenty of restaurants are located. Our suite was very clean, very clean bedsheets, newly renovated bathrooms, huge balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee with mountain view. In general service was great, Mohamad Hajj made our morning with his great smile during buffet service. Khalid el Baarini made sure we are enjoying our stay and Mrs Makari touched our tables to check on us and make sure all is great. Thank you all for this wonderful stay and hope to keep up the great work and add new touches to the room decorations and furniture to make it one of the best hotels in the area. We'll definitely...
