Biržų kempingas — Hotel in Biržai

Mixed feelings about this place. Definitely good location and nice place but a lot could be improved.

We visited off season and the place was empty which was nice. We could just check us in which was also nice.

The place is quite tight to manöver but doable which a 7.5 mts.

The lake is quite close and the location very central.

What is not so good and could be improved:

Toilets were extremely dirty, spider webs, bugs, human waste, from the looks of it they were probably not clean since the season ended a month ago. The public toilets at the city square were immaculate compared to this ones.

The pitches are next to the track field, there is constantly people training, kids running, kids with bikes, etc all right next to your pitch. Quietness zero.

At the moment there is a construction next to it so heavy noise from 7 am. But I guess that can’t be avoided.

The pitches have been designed by someone who probably never went camping because the cars would stay next to each other (almost touching) and your „free“ space is directly in front of your neighbour. Normal design is car space car space. Here is car car space space. Just very weird and inconvenient specially if the Neighbours have dogs or kids you would have no privacy.

There were no washing (clothes) facilities or at least at the time.

Overall not a bad place but definitely not a relax place in the Sommer. I hope the cleaning is improved...

The campsite is in a very beautiful location.Many large oaks and other trees grow on the campsite.It is very nice.There is a lake next to it but beach is not covered by the campsite area.It is possible to rent a boat or water bike. Reception are really friendly,functional and effective. All the usual facilities are available,and are modern and fine. Very nice place, near the city center of Biržai, near the beach and the longest pedestrian bridge in Lithuania. Not very clean, but still good.
