Jūratės B&B Namai — Hotel in Kaunas County

We stayed here for our last night and it's literally a 5 min walk if that to the airport. Set in a residential street with parking area if you have a car. You get met when you book in and get shown around as there are no staff there otherwise unless it's in the morning when the ladies come in to clean the rooms etc. There is a large dining room area with a kettle so just help yourself to tea/coffee, a microwave, a toaster along with plates, bowls, cups, mugs and cutlery. In the hall there is a large fridge where if you order breakfast(bread, ham, cheese, tomatoes, small carton orange juice and a yoghurt) it will be left for you. There are seating areas outside. We had a double room, although not the biggest it suited our needs for just one night. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Towels provided. Had a hairdryer. Air conditioning. Wifi but we couldn't get on. You get left a set of keys which consist of room key, main door key and a fob to get in the gate as it is secure entry into the grounds. Few minutes walk away from a couple of restaurants and shop. The B&B is situated on a rather creepy street, although close to the airport (10 min walk) I would not recommend it. There is a newly built hotel just outside the airport terminal that is a lot better. The B&B is also far away from kaunas. ||As you get in through the front door there has been a great effort to have a good common room for everybody to go to through out the day and for their breakfast but anything that a guest leaves their stays until the next day. So in my case that was some kind of rotten fish with a smell that spread through out the building, terrible. To add up to it people were smoking on the second floor on a terass with the door open and that smell also spread across the building. The breakfast was white cheap bread with weird ham (or chicken and horse meat i could not tell). The bed was hard, the bathroom out dated. When i payed in cash I did not get a reciept, although i continued to ask for it for several days so i am assuming they are not running a serious buisness. If you can go...

The neighborhood is safe and very quiet. We easily parked on the street for free. They asked us to do it, regardless the property has its own big private parking. The bedroom and bathroom had good size. The accommodation was clean and ready at our arrival. The wifi was stable and fast. We had a good night's sleep. Nothing disturbed us.
