Manami — Restaurant in Kaunas County

I came here just for coffee and I haven't tried any food. I forgot to check the menu by the time I came to the till and so I asked whether they do a flat white. Good news - they do. Not so good news - they told me that my own mug is redundant and they use their single use cup nonetheless. This is weird to say the least. In my receipt I found extra 10 p charge for a "single use plastic packaging" which is even more illogical. If you charge people a so called "green tax", why there is no option to avoid it if I bring my own mug? This is in no way tackling pollution etc. On top of that using the plastic lid is optional and I don't need it and so I ended up paying this 10 p just for a paper mug... Coffee is mediocre although the caffeine kick was there. Over all, price-quality ratio...

Second time here, and unfortunately a huge disappointment. The food used to be delicious, but something has gone in the wrong direction. The Margherita pizza was strangely sweet and made with cheap ingredients. The cold borscht portion was tiny and missing the egg shown in the menu photo. In general, the food looks nothing like what's advertised. The dumplings were just okay.

Service was also lacking—staff seemed indifferent, almost as if they were doing you a favor by letting you order. I got the impression they were avoiding interaction, even waving dismissively as if pretending not to understand English.

Terrible customer service. I had a very disappointing experience at Manami Bar Restaurant due to rude customer service. When I asked the server about the ownership—because I prefer not to support businesses that align with Russia's actions in the war against Ukraine—she dismissively replied, "Can you ask something easier? I have no idea who it belongs to, and I don't care."

On top of that, her nails were excessively long, raising serious concerns about hygiene standards in a hospitality setting.
