Viešbutis - restoranas "Kornealita" — Hotel in Visaginas

I was here for three days on business and being so far from the capital was not expecting any frills or boutique touches. Which is just as well. The hotel is very clean and the staff polite. The rooms are rather plain and dated but the en-suite was clean and modern enough. Wi-fi is free but the signal strength sporadic. In my room there was no signal but there are arm chairs conveniently situated in the first-floor corridor where the signal is stronger! This soon became my temporary "office". The restaurant serves a number of dishes which were all very good. Prices are amazingly cheap - steak and chips and three or four beers was about 12 euros. On the whole I gave 3 stars - average against an international comparison but probably good or better in comparison with others in the area. Small, modern hotel offering clean and comfortable rooms and possibly the best food in town. The friendly staff have very little English but are friendly and work hard to make you feel at ease. Rooms are a good size if a little bare, with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. There is wi-fi throughout the building and the buffet breakfast is available from early morning. Most of the guests are business travellers, working at the nearby nuclear power plant, and service at weekends reflects this - you may be the only person in the hotel overnight on a Saturday. There is a small spa which offers a range of massage therapies and a plunge pool, and an attractive outside sitting area. Outstanding...

Каждый раз останавливаюсь тут, в целом нормальная трешка на мой взгляд, рядом ресторан Магелита в котором не дурственные шашлыки!)) сама гостиница местами требует косметического ремонта, местами замены сантехники. В основном в номерах не удобные кровати эконом эконом варианта, то же самое с подушками. Зимой сразу просите обогреватель)))) хотя я люблю спать в холоде))) завтраки каждый раз одинаковые, сосиски, блинчики с творогом, яичница. В этот раз поразился сделали кашу и самое главное поставили кофе машину! Так как до этого ездили в ближайший торговый центр пить кофе, не надо говорить почему?)))) отдельное спасибо за интернет! Хотя и раньше везде висели указатели Зебры, вай фая в гостинице не было и это очень напрягало! Приходилось ездить в какую то кафешку, каких кстати в городе почти нет))) сейчас WiFi есть, по крайней мере в люксе где мы жили, и дубасит прилично! |В целом нормальная трешка или может двушка но без негатива я бы так сказал. |В городе не особенно есть где остановиться. Рядом через пустырь Идиле и другое приличное место усадьба Смалвос, но это за городом, однако если машина есть советую остановиться там! Разочарованы не будите))) нам важно всегда жить в городе поэтому у нас всегда...
