Hôtel de la Mer — Hotel in Nosy Be

I stayed here while works were ongoing on the bottom floors, so we got a great rate. The staff are friendly and helpful, available at almost any hours as they live on site and own the neighbouring restaurant (good for pizzas and live music).|| The views from the top are beautiful, and the road is not that noisy although opposite is a school so expect hymns in the morning and curious stares. The suite #29 is by far the best. ||The hotel has clean sheets, comedy beds but no nets, with lovely showers and hot water. ||I think this place is full of potential. Staying here we were in great hands and the location promises...

Unfortunately, we only stopped by to eat( Viking Cruise ship) and didn't have a chance to stay overnight. With that said, let me say that the views of the ocean were beautiful and the food was delicious. All of the food was prepared fresh. Grilled fish, chicken, cucumber salad, The staff were warm...

We went there and we realized that nothing on the pictures is representative of the reality. This is almost abandoned place, where the windows couldn’t close, mosquitos were everywhere, mice fetuses in the balcony. Extremely dirty and old. Of course we left....
