We just finished our wedding celebration at Cove, and everything from the service to the venue and food were excellent. We stayed in the two bedroom pool villa, where we enjoyed gorgeous sunset every morning while swimming in our own spacious infinity pool. It was a good choice for our bridal suite because there is a beautiful living room are which can accommodate visiting guests. Loved the fresh fruits and chocolate upon arrival. Wedding ceremony at ocean pavilion was breezy with an amazing view of the ocean. Wedding dinner reception at Sera Hall was elegant and inviting. The head chef makes great food, we chose Chinese style set menu and had specific instructions such as cooking with healthy olive oil, the chef was able to take in all of our suggestions. Everyone loved the food! A few of our guests had special meals and drink requests and the staff were all so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is a la cart with a semi buffet selection of breads and fruits, which was all freshly made daily and plentiful. You can also choose to take breakfast in your room. Last but not least, the grounds at Cove are beautifully designed, flowers and grass meticulously maintained, both mountain and ocean view are gorgeous. There are total around 30 rooms which makes the whole atmosphere feel exclusive and intimate. Perhaps the only thing missing is beach that you can walk on the sand and swim in the ocean - but the hotel offers free shuttle to Damai Beach which has all of that and only a few minutes ride away. Highly recommend it for both personal vacation or group celebrations!

If you are looking for a 'local' get-away from town and relaxation, this would be the best one to choose! The staff and services are very friendly, polite, helpful, and well trained. In addition, you'll sure do feel that you are very much welcome. Cove 55 is something like a private & luxury vacation spot for those who can afford to stay. We stayed at the one bedded ocean pool villa & at the one bedded mangrove villa. The experience has the 'WOW Factor', when you enter both of the rooms. Like what I said, it's luxury and comfortable to stay in. Almost all are shown in my photos posted. There are other types of rooms available in the resort, such as corner suite, garden room, balcony suite, Seaview villa, other ocean pool & mangrove villas. The restaurant and food are marvellous! The presentation of food and drinks is good, there are a variety of dishes to choose from, and the food portion is worth spending. Environment & Scenery, the room for me is very much enough for some. But adding the views from the distance, you'll able to see the Santubong Mountain, the sea, all greens, wildlife such as wandering birds, squirrels (yes), hermit crabs, sea eagle, and other kinds of crabs that are not shy, mudskippers and fishes around Cove 55. Other facilities are also available in Cove 55, such as the library, the gym, public swimming pool, pool bar, and some others. I would definitely recommend any tourist and friends to stay at this marvellous place. Try it to believe it. I will be back to stay again.

We stayed for 1 night/2days in this beautiful resort. Wish we could have stayed longer. It is a true gem, located about 40 min from Kuching with scenic views on Mount Santubong. The infinity pool looking onto the South China Sea, especially at sunset or sunrise, is a highlight. And the best thing is that it so peaceful, quiet and secluded. Often we had the pool for ourselves. A great place to wind down. We stayed in a spacious corner suite with a balcony, which had stunning views. The room itself is elegant, clean and kept in white, blue and turquoise tones. Loved that they named the rooms according to local birds instead of room numbers. The beds were very comfy. And it was so quiet that we had a good rest. Another highlight was the food. Breakfast was exceptional with warm choices like Sarawak Laksa (look at the pic, it is amazing!) and a continental breakfast buffet. While it may not be as big as you find them in large hotels we personally found it much better because it was prepared freshly and from local products, often organic. Also, the chef, trained in France and Dubai, came up with amazing creations such a chiaseeds with honey and coconut. Definitely a must try. Also dinner was very delicious. Last but not least, Gillian and her staff did a tremendous job. Always helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Thanks to them the standard of this resort is really as good as a 5 star hotel in Europe or the US.
