Hi, I would like to share my bad experience at this seafood restaurant. I’m a regular customer at Teo Seafood restaurant in Buntal. One day as I drove past Beach Seafood restaurant, I decided to give it a try. As usual, my standard order was a small crab, chankok manis and curry ambal and my bill was RM62/-. The following week, again I placed the same identical order and the crab was slightly bigger and the bill comes up to be RM68/- which was reasonable. After a week which was yesterday, I dropped by and ordered the same identical items and the crab was slightly smaller this time around. I was shocked at the cashier that my bill was RM98/-. I didn’t want to argue and settled the bill but before I left, I told them that this would be the last time and Im never coming back. Head over to Kampung Buntal, just a 10 mins drive away, and you are welcomed with an abundance of Chinese-style seafood.
Out of a number I’ve tried, I had to highlight Beach Seafood Restaurant.
it’s got nearly 400 reviews in google, and it does live up to its name.
This restaurant, which serves no pork, was full of locals when I came; locals of all races.
The dishes were perfectly seasoned. Malichai with egg, vegetarian homemade Tofu, Baby Kailan, you name it. The fish lip soup was my favourite. Thick and rich, complemented with sour black vinegar, it was most palatable. And their coconuts were HUGE. Bigger than my head. 😂 Overall, it was an excellent meal. If I return to Santubong and am in need of dinner, I’d head here...
