Hi, I would like to share my bad experience at this seafood restaurant. I’m a regular customer at Teo Seafood restaurant in Buntal. One day as I drove past Beach Seafood restaurant, I decided to give it a try. As usual, my standard order was a small crab, chankok manis and curry ambal and my bill was RM62/-. The following week, again I placed the same identical order and the crab was slightly bigger and the bill comes up to be RM68/- which was reasonable. After a week which was yesterday, I dropped by and ordered the same identical items and the crab was slightly smaller this time around. I was shocked at the cashier that my bill was RM98/-. I questioned the cashier that this is not right charging me unreasonably. It’s totally dishonest. I didn’t want to argue and settled the bill but before I left, I told them that this would be the last time and Im never coming back. Teo seafood in Buntal is still my regular place for years and they never ever taken me for a ride. I told all my family and friends never to patronise this Beach Seafood Restaurant for...

A casual dining establishment located near the coast, offering a variety of seafood dishes. The menu may feature a mix of local and international seafood options, such as grilled fish, fried shrimp, crab cakes, and clam chowder.

The restaurant have an outdoor seating area with views of the ocean, as well as an indoor dining area. The service is typically friendly and accommodating.

The prices are often moderate, reflecting the average quality of the food. The seafood may be fresh, but not necessarily the highest quality available. The preparation and cooking of the dishes may be straightforward, with a focus on basic seasonings and sauces rather than innovative or complex flavor combinations.

Overall, this is a seafood restaurant with average food quality is a good choice for diners who are looking for a casual, affordable meal with a variety of seafood options, but who may not be looking for a gourmet...

📌Beach Seafood Restaurant

If you’re on a tight budget while holidaying in Santubong, and a hotel dinner is out of the question, fear not.

Head over to Kampung Buntal, just a 10 mins drive away, and you are welcomed with an abundance of Chinese-style seafood.

Out of a number I’ve tried, I had to highlight Beach Seafood Restaurant.

it’s got nearly 400 reviews in google, and it does live up to its name.

This restaurant, which serves no pork, was full of locals when I came; locals of all races.

The dishes were perfectly seasoned. Malichai with egg, vegetarian homemade Tofu, Baby Kailan, you name it. The fish lip soup was my favourite. Thick and rich, complemented with sour black vinegar, it was most palatable. And their coconuts were HUGE. Bigger than my head. 😂 Overall, it was an excellent meal. If I return to Santubong and am in need of dinner, I’d head here...

We chose this restaurant as it was the nearest Seafood restaurant with good reviews. We arrived and sat down. Service came immediately with a red tablecloth and our drinks order. There were only 2 of us so we couldn't order many dishes, but they came so quickly. A must-have was the midin dish, and we had it done with belacan. Absolutely wonderful. Our 2nd dish was a prawn dish. Medium-sized prawns cooked in butter and with sauce (please do tell them that as it may be served dry as well). And lastly, I got to have my spicy soup ie tomyam prawn.. The soup was spicy, sour, and there were lots of prawns in it. Our rice accompaniment was fried rice with crabmeat. It was fried with enough wok hei. Our choices made this meal the best in our visit to Kuching. I totally recommend this place.
