Jabez Kinabalu Inn — Hotel in Borneo

Been to so many resorts in Kundasang and yet Jabez is still one of the best recommended resort, especially if you have friends or relatives know how to prepare BBQ, and yet, don't forget to arrive earlier so you can use the balcony with best mountain view with big BBQ pot.

Maybe we are consider lucky as well, the staff said it was raining over the weeks but not the two days we stay over there, the view is stunning, especially in the morning if the weather is good, you can see whole of Mt Kinabalu and the Kundasang villages in one view.

The room is considering spacious, with attached bathroom for deluxe and family room.

And if you're lazy to prepare food, you can also order from their chef, their standard is almost hotel standard.

Security is good, only guest who made booking can enter their premises, the only thing is that you have to call their number and ask to open the gate.

About coldness, it's not as cold as in Mesilau but it's still consider, can be 20 to 22C during the night, suitable for seniors or who are easily getting sick of cold.

There are also well cared gardening and check in decos for you to take photos, they have 30 over rooms can allow group booking.

Overall, this is one of my memorable and recommended place to stay...

Awesome stay here, good prices, Great service and Awesome food here, Thank You guys, great chef & staff👌. Highly recommended here. Beautiful view, great atmosphere and great security. Comfortable beds, nice clean and spacious room with big fan, good bathrooms with good shower pressure. Feels like home, nice dinning area with comfortable sitting, and awesome big outside area for everything that you can do with your family and friends together. Beautiful mountain view while eating a humble and simple breakfast. The menu is good & all the food is so delicious! The thick corn soup is great in flavour and texture, the potato and chicken has a delightful sauce, the veg dishes is flavoursome & the best also the Brinjal tasty, the crispy salted egg bitter gourd is the best just right😁👌, the tilapia fish is fresh, awesome flavour, cooked right and tender, the spicy marinated chicken is flavoursome, tender and juicy sauce, & the curry fish is awesome and fresh flavours😁👍. I loved everything. Great time and memories here with my friends. Thank You Jesus for this opportunity to have, Thanks to my friends for their love and support amen!

Extremely surprise the fact that several websites recommended me to book at this resort!!!? This is just my FIRST day staying here and couldn't believe that I've experience such "adventurous" moments in my life! It is clearly shown that this resort is located on the hill so we'll be expecting to see insects in our room. HOWEVER, there were RED ANTSSSS in the TOILET! Is this even ACCEPTABLE??! If there's lizard or BLACK ANTSS or other insects it's fine but EXCUSE ME? RED ANTSSS! And can you believe that this is just the BEGINNING?! I just wanna to wash my feet using the HAND BIDET next to the toilet bowl. BUT the TAP BURST! HALF of the room was FLOODEDD! THIS IS SERIOUSLY RIDICULOUS!!! Half of my body was DRENCHED! Can you imagine how COLD it is to get SOAKED during NIGHT at KUNDASANG??? Initially, I wanted to give 5 star for their services BUT I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that the MANAGER did not apolagize for this matter! COME ON BASIC MANNERS even a kid knows how to say "Sorry" if he has made a mistake. But the word "sorry" couldn't be heard from him! Pls pls pls! Think TWICE before booking...
