Charming Place with Room for Improvement We recently stayed at a hotel located along Jalan Mesilau, just before a sharp turn on the way up to Desa. The location is convenient and the surroundings are lovely, with a great view of Mount Kinabalu, albeit slightly obstructed by an electrical pillar. Great staffs too, super friendly! The hotel appears to be relatively new, but the room didn’t quite meet our expectations. There was a wire for a TV, but no TV. This wasn’t a major issue since the view of Mount Kinabalu was a delightful distraction. The sheets felt fresh and clean, though we did notice a few stains, including some lipstick marks. The bathroom was basic and compact. The grout could definitely benefit from a thorough cleaning. The view from the cafe was charming, overlooking the valley and vegetable gardens. Despite some shortcomings, we’re open to returning, especially with the promised improvements. The friendly atmosphere and the potential for upgrades make us optimistic about a future visit.

Managed to booked last minute during school holiday and long weekend. Host was friendly and check in was smooth. Room design is modern with attached balcony. Can see clearly Mount Kinabalu if the sky is clear. Room equipped with water heater as well. Location wise is perfect. Not too far from town & exit. Hence, can avoid heavy traffic and half the time during holiday season. Restaurant and small shops are in walkable distance. Would recommend this place. Also, According to host, coffee shop is soon to be open. Would try it next time

Overall Price value worth the stay. Although the stay might be average. But good enough if not being demanding. This location offer best view at Mt Kinabalu at your room. And easy accessible via road. Heading to Desa Dairy Farm and Alpaca farm is nearby as well. Breakfast is just average, and please remark to cook fried noodle less salty. Else, American breakfast with bread and sausage beans are fine.

Great affordable place to stay in Mount Kinabalu. Great view of the mountain tip near the entrance. Our stay which is villa with 6 room(four queen and two double single bed) Comfort wise, hot water will be lacking when overuse. Mahjong, additional mattress, BBQ set are available for rental. Location wise, near the desa milk farm and ranau. There are also a great star gazing location (low illumination) near it's place (do ask the owner and also SUV type car is a must as the road...
