Jaya Hotel Sibu — Hotel in Borneo

The hotel is way out of town n is located in the center of some housing area with a fruit shop on one side n a coffee shop the other side. Unless you're driving n are able to drive out to look for food than i guess this would be a so so budget hotel. Window view @ RM80 and RM70 without. They have a family room with 2 queen size bed for RM120. The size of the room is real small, TV has only 3 station n the bed, ultra hard. Stayed 2 nights n no room service i.e. they don't make your beds nor do they give u fresh towels. Shower water wasn't really hot but the pressure is acceptable. Having the window option is what I had is a waste of RM10 since when opening the curtain just made the room hotter n on top of that everyone could see you since they did not have a 2nd layer curtain. So in most cases it left closed. Had the bed been sleepable, I may hv given it a better rating but unless u love hard rock beds than u may want to look for an alternative place than Jaya hotel...

Went there last year and that worst hotel I've ever been to. Water heater not working. The mattress made me feel like I'm sleeping on...

I don't know where to start. Bed hard as wood. Room is small. They can't afford to buy cabinet. So its mean no wardrobe. Atleast bag stand or something utk kah beg bha. Xpat request extra blanket or towel. Engak kacaknya jamban bersih. I'm a hotelier as well.. bkn nak berik bad review. Kepak bha seharian drive di jeraya, dpt hotel tilam kayu. Ya baruk...
