Highly Recommended for a Comfortable Stay in Kudat. If you value comfort and cleanliness, I highly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay in Kudat. Although the hotel has a limited number of rooms, they are spacious and well-maintained. I booked three rooms for one night and requested connecting rooms, which were arranged accordingly. The hotel offers beautiful views, including a stunning sunset view, which adds a special touch to the overall experience. There is also a swimming pool, including a separate children's pool, perfect for families with young children. The breakfast selection is simple but sufficient. Basic toiletries were provided, except for shampoo. The booking, check-in, and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. However, there are a few areas where improvement is needed: Pool Facilities: Poolside management could be improved. Although towel service is provided, there was no staff consistently stationed at the pool area. At times, staff were present briefly, but for the most part, guests had difficulty requesting fresh towels when supplies ran out. While there are shaded areas with cantilever umbrellas, the cantilever umbrellas were not opened, limiting the availability of comfortable seating. Additionally, some loose tiles at the bottom of the pool could pose a safety hazard and should be repaired. Room Cleanliness: The floor in the room was sandy, and the pillowcases had a musty odor. While this did not significantly affect our stay due to the limited time spent in the room, it is something the housekeeping team should address. Guest Rules: The house rules felt somewhat restrictive, with an excessive number of "do not" notices that may come across as overly strict. Restaurant Cleanliness and Staff Conduct: Some plates appeared dusty, and I observed restaurant staff eating sunflower seeds while on duty, which may not be appropriate during working hours. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives. With some improvements in maintenance and service standards, this hotel has great potential. I would definitely recommend it, especially for short stays and don’t miss the breathtaking sunset view.

Went to kudat over the weekend. Booking -book the room one day prior with online booking. Got reply the next morning and the correspondance is good. Very happy with the booking process. Check in -friendly receptionist. good explaination given about facilities and the hotel. Room. -was assigned room in 2nd floor. Paid extra for ocean view. Didnt get so much of ocean view. a little bit dissapointed. Room is old but well maintained. Can here kids screaming and running along the hallway at night. only one visible plug in the room. me n my friends need to take turn to charge the phone. ordered an extra bed. need to go to the main desk twice to ask for it to be set up. Restaurant -had lunch in the restaurant on ground floor. clean and nice restaurant. Food is good. Staff is friendly and attentive. -Normal option for breakfast. Refilling of food is a bit slow. But understandable looking at the number of crowd to the number of waiter working. All in all, hotel with great ambience and staff but there is room for improvement.

This is my 2nd time stayed here. I've got cheaper room price from booking.com, cheaper than hotel room rate. The room was nice, just old fashion furniture. There is no menu on our room for room service & i'm not sure weather they still provide room service anymore. Phone room not working at all..🙄 As pandemic is still ongoing by this time, the pool still close also the other facility. Kindly before u confirm ur booking, please call the hotel weather their facility are open if u wish to used them during ur stay. At the night, this area looks weird and creapy because there's no street light from junction. Also no light at the parking area, the looby itself look terible with no sound of music like before. I suggest the management please do some maintanance to satisfied ur customer.. I'm surely come again if u manage to upgrade ur services

This place selling point is sunrise, beautiful seaside overlooking Teluk Marudu, swimming pool and breathtaking 18 holes golf course.

However, my F&B experienced not up to the benchmark or 5 star hotel. Being quiet an active traveller & working worldwide via virtual stream connection, staying in up-scale & run down accommodation, the cafe of this place extremely need an upgrade. To maintain it's F&B desirable cost - ala carte menu can be offered on weekdays where not many guest staying.

Yet, on wkend when it is vibrant with guest from every part of Borneo, foreigners - a feast of hospitality foods showcasing Borneo hospitality shall be fully exercise by training the Chef & entire kitchen on uniqueness of Sabahan flavour ( from nasi lopot, sayur campur Ranau, Buras, ayam penyet Sabahan style, rojak Borneo, Chinese Sabahan foodies, etc). Sabah is home of 27 ethnicity and delving into its F&B hospitality worth by all means - uniting Kudat, Pitas, Kota Belud, Kota Marudu, Sapinangoh, Telupid, Beluran, Sdkn, Lahad Datu, Kunak, Semporna, Tawau, Kalabakan, Nabawan, Long Pasia, Sook, Tulis, Tenom, Keningau, Tambunan, Ranau, Tamparuli, Tuaran, KK, Penampang, Papar, Beaufort, Sipitang, Sindumin, Lawas even Brunei & Sarawak Foodies.

Updated 2021: Getting here somewhere in march n april 2021. glad they improved..

previous: 4th times visit here and my overall review are: TV - lot of channels. Include cartoon Parking - safe n convenience Room - Bit old fashioned but still comfortable

Restaurant/Cafe - during breakfast. very dissapointed. Dirty table. The self service coffee finish and not replaced. Customer come and no one attend them on front desk. Whre to claim your breakfast? And i see a customer complain to the restaurant and the response for me is a bit rude (slamming door - lady) when going to replace the milk n coffee. If you dont want to ruin your mood after your happy trip here., never go for breakfast.)(this happens on 9th August 2020) I just walked out from restaurant without having breakfast and have submitted my complaint at hotel receptionist . To make a change, please change the attitude first. I definitely will shoot my rating to 4stars if this doesn't happen.

Customer service n staff - Nice Pool - Ok but the rules are bit confusing when it not allow into the pool if no shirt. At the same time no short pants.?

Emergency exit - emergency door (near room 238 & 237) to the stair is locked during midnight. Try to open from inside but i cant. Imagine if there is a fire blocking the path to...
