Since today is a public holiday so I decided to visit this place. Many times I wanted to come here because Langkah Syabas Beach Resort can be seen from the main road and also there's a signboard. So it's quite easy to remember the location of this Resort. Actually, this Beach Resort is located at Kampung Laut Kinarut, Jalan Papar Baru. Anybody who wish to visit or spend weekend holidays here this Beach Resort is not in Kota Kinabalu. What I like this Beach Resort is quite peaceful and really the environment is beautiful. There's two swimming pool. One at the wooden cottages and one is at the concrete homestay. The wooden cottages are surrounded with plants and few coconut trees. While the concrete homestay are facing the sea view. I went to management office to enquire of the price and type of homestay provided here. And after chatting with her, a friendly receiptionist, she gave me a piece of paper of prices information. I asked permission from her to walk around and was permitted. I walked around and took photos. The attractions of this place is the scenery. It has a beautiful sea view. There's island just infront. I wondered what island is that. I tried to recall back my memory the time I attended 10days Executive outdoor activities at Outward Bound School in Kinarut 1991 and my batch,we all camped at an island. Going back to OBS we used canoe. It took one hour for me and my male friend to reach OBS. It's a very challenging moment rowing a canoe by myself due to my friend has no experience in rowing boat or canoe. But we enjoyed our trips. Langkah Syabas Beach Resort Beach also provides meals for anybody who wish to taste the foods. If I'm not mistaken for adults it cost RM60 and kids RM30. Parking lots just infront of the management office. This morning, I have a nice day spent near the beach. I hope one day I can stay at the Wooden cottage. I love kampung environment.

We came by for lunch. Food GR8 (see below, recommend come for meals) setting beautiful! We had our wedding reception here 17 yrs ago and Peter the Aussie owner recognised us straight off. Still awesome place. We didnt stay this time as staying closer to famiky in KK but its soo peaceful and beautiful here i recommend for great island/beach view BUT still quick run to town in the day. Food though.... DO come for meals the restaurant is gorgeous, upstairs on a balcony, all wooden like a yacht club, views of tropical islands and elevated to catch breezes. Food ... great lovely fries, fish and chips bit small but the best batter but my daughter 16 found it just right. Personally i remembered awesome high quality local food and i ordered Beef Rendang and boy was it awesome, best i have had except for my wife's, pickles with it were awesome and complimented perfectly. My wife and sister in law adored their oxtail. If you want awesome food in a very beautiful setting full of old world tropical charm its worth a visit. My 1 regret is we didnt get here earlier this trip as intended becsuse i'd like to come again and try their lamb curry with biryani. Thanks Peter and co for gr8 lunch and we got to show our kids where we had our wedding party.

1. The toilet room is so dirty especially the shower head got fungi bacteria on it and rusty as well. 2. Room are so dusty and dirty 3. Terms in food are very expensive and not even delicious and salty! 4. The lamb chop that we ordered are not cooked at all, still got ice inside. Feel so horrible! Lamb chop cost RM48 and it's Not cheap not even cooked! When I asked the cashier about the lamb chop they dint even take responsibility of it, as in discount or something. You guys should give food to customer that are cooked well! 5. We only ordered one ice chocolate but the waiters keep on adding 3 ice chocolate. Next time please make sure customers orders! 6. Food rate - 3 over 10 7. Cleaness rate - 2 over 10 8. Environment rate - 5 over 10 Please improve in your food services and cleaness! Please don't give to customer that food are not cooked. We pay for the food and it's very expensive, and it's not fair we have this horrible service! Very disappointed with the food service and cleaness. Resort should have better quality. This quality resort are horrible I definitely won't introduce to any of my member friends and family!

What a great, relaxing place this is! We booked our room by sending them a message in WhatsApp and had no issues.||||The location is around 15 km south from Kota Kinabalu airport which is great, because you get away from all the traffic noise of the city. You can hear the planes every now and then, but it is nothing like the noise in the KK center. For us the quiet surroundings were the really big thing. There are just a few sea view rooms and even when there were other customers, it was still peaceful and quiet. Sea view rooms have their own pool so most of the time it felt like having an own private pool just for us.||||The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped us to organise our next destination and also gave a hand when one of us got sick and needed to see a doctor. Their laundry service is great too: we gave a huge bag of laundry to them in the morning and got clean clothes back on the same day. Liza, the owner, is such a great personality and we had a great opportunity to taste a potential new sparkling wine with her.||||The restaurant is spacious with lovely view to the big yard and to the ocean. We liked their buffet breakfast, but on the last two morning they switched it to à la carte. For us it didn’t make a huge difference, because the food was plenty. It was pretty much the same as the buffet options but served to the table. The dinner menu has more western options than typical Malaysian restaurants. We tried spaghetti, lasagne and fish and enjoyed them all, but at the same time wished more local options. They do have surprisingly good selection of wines from all over the world. In addition to a few glasses of house wine, we ended up enjoying a bottle of Italian pinot grigio on the Valentine’s Day dinner.

The restaurant is relatively expensive compared to typical street food joints. Luckily, there is a really good local restaurant just a short walk away and we ended up eating there our last dinners. The Palm Square shopping area is just a quick Grab drive away and there you can find more local restaurants. Getting there costs 5 ringgits.||||Sea view rooms are clean and spacious. Shower has warm water, but sometimes it took a while to get it. Water pressure was weak but we managed with it. It is a really nice bonus that the pool is just few meters away from the room. Each room has their own decked terrace with a fan and two sunbeds. Like other have mentioned, there is a beach but it is not very good. They clean it, but the trash from the ocean piles up anyway. Annoying fact that affects so many beaches in Sabah.||||We spent five nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Highly...
