Checked in on early November 2016. The hotel is one of the newer one in Mukah, a fast developing town. The other standard accommodation was also located nearby. ||||The hotel staff is nice, and readily greets you upon arrival. The check in process was also swift, and upon checking in, each guest will be given a WiFi password coupon. The coverage of the WiFi is intermittent, fast in the day, but slowing down in the night. ||||The bed was comfortable, but the pillows can be too hard or too soft, I had a sore neck upon waking up in the morning, Am not sure whether you can ask for a pillow change or not. The bathroom was nice, although no bath tub available.||||Eateries and departmental stores available nearby. If you don't mind walking some distances, you can go to the unique wet-dry marketplace, where's you can find souvenir aplenty. ||||If you're expecting to be served with nice luxurious breakfast spread, don't stay here. Limited options available, with a 'must' menus including a congee, half boiled egg, hard boiled egg and toasts. But enough to fill your stomach up. The 'cafe' also serves minimal menu selection. Don't expect any fancy dining in the 'cafe', you'll be disappointed.||||The price of each room is belonged too middle portion, but certainly affordable and worth every penny. Definitely...
Read moreStayed for business from 28th to 30th October 2019. Stay on the 4th floor. Acceptable for the price. The noise level is HIGH. There is renovation in the hotel everywhere. renovations starts 8 am to 4pm, no rest for guest during that time, constant knocking and sawing. The short stretch of road along hotel has loud blaring vehicles passing in the middle of every night. The corridor is not carpeted and rooms are not sound proofed. Anyone walking, talking, opening/closing door in the corridor can be heard. The drainage system in the bathroom was the most intolerable part of the stay. Water flowing from the shower will bring up a stench from the drainage. The smell was choking. I have been to cheaper hotels with lesser stench...I DO NOT recommend this hotel if you need a place for a good rest. Otherwise acceptable...
Read moreThis hotel can look quite simple and ordinary but the service is extraordinary. Firstly, I would like to say thank you to Angel and Ria who were always ready to assist my needs while staying at the hotel. But honestly from the day of my arrival, upon receiving the confirmation call from a male staff, I was already happy to start my journey. I stayed for 4 nights and the stay was as always pleasant. If you are looking for affordable no frills hotel Li Hua is the way to go. The hotel shares the same building as Medan Mall Mukah and there is a Pezzo/Sugarbun franchise too. Laundry is also available at the vicinity so yes, this is my go to everytime I want to travel to Mukah. Breakfast if very basic but then again, for the price you are...
