When you stay here you can easily get food since a restaurant situated just besides the hotel, there is also asma cake house where you can buy kek lapis sarawak..but the restaurant close too early..maybe around 5pm..I'm not sure since we arrived back around that time and the restaurant was already closed..other than that there are also eg dobi if you want to do laundry and servay hypermarket besides the hotel..you can easily park your car since there are many parking space available..there is a small pantry if you stayed in deluxe family suite..they also provided us with water heater, cups, plates, spoons, forks, bowls and 1 electric stove..I don't know how to adjust the water temperature in the bathroom since there was no label on it..so you just have to experiment with the tap..the iron will be besides the linen room..there were some yellowish spots on the beddings but still smells nice..we don't have tv signals during our stay since it was under maintenance..you can easily get grab or mytaxi around here..
Side note: During my second stay here they moved the iron but it was still on the same floor. Well, good luck in finding the iron since it won't be at...
Read moreStayed here for a week in one Superior King room. It's a big room! I've stayed in few hotels before and honestly speaking, I always try to get the cheapest room, we all do. Even if the room only have one queen bed meant for two person, and we're actually a four person entourage, we still take it! But I never had the cheapest room at a hotel where the room size as big as this. The bed itself can fit 3 person and there's a lot of floor to sleep on! Just bring your sleeping bag along. More conveniently, this hotel is attached to a supermarket and a 24-hour self service laundry. The supermarket even have a Café but if thats not enough, there's a restaurant right next to it. Also you can find a shop selling Kek Lapis Sarawak just in front of the hotel. Probably the only downside is that there's no public transportation available but who needs it when you...
Read moreOverall, my stay at My Inn, Samarahan was pleasant. The room appeared clean, including the bathroom.
The floor was clean, although it felt slightly dusty, possibly due to the surface becoming worn over time. Surfaces such as the table and other furniture were well-maintained and tidy.
Amenities provided included two bath soaps, one shampoo, two sachets of coffee, two sachets of tea, and two sachets of powdered creamer. However, there was no replenishment on the second day, including the two bottles of drinking water.
Unfortunately, the TV remote control was not functional, so I was limited to watching only educational TV channels.
The towels provided were soft and absorbent, although they appeared a bit worn.
There were enough power sockets (two in total), but none were conveniently located near the bed.
