A pleasant find of a gem in Tambunan. You can just make out the padi fields in the distance from the upstairs room windows. Glorious sunrise too. Rooms are very spacious. Bed is okay. Furniture a little old but still okay. Bathroom basic but spacious and functional. Water pressure super strong. Too strong! Has water heater. Room has bottled waters and coffee tea making facilities. Enough shows to watch on the TV when I was there. Cool temperature 18°C nighttime when I stayed there and never turned the air conditioning on even once. Easy to get to town if you have own transportation. Have WiFi but I did not use it so cannot comment.

Glad I found this resthouse! Highly recommend to stay here if you’re in Tambunan. It’s very near to Tambunan town although the access road to the resthouse is quite narrow but the resthouse area is spacious and plenty of parking space. It’s very clean and feels very new (even the towels smelled good 👍🏻) The room is very spacious, perfect for families. They provide the basic stuffs we need (air cond, hot shower, kettle, ironing board, even Netflix). Booking was easy, done through whatsapp and their staffs were friendly. Definitely will stay here again!

Cleanliness is up to standard, Room is big, can ask for additional extra bedding for kids, room equipment is well maintained, Air-condition function well, ceiling fan is in good condition ( no squeaky sound) tv is good, they provide smart tv box ( mi box) overall all furniture in the room is in good condition, walking distance to town area , nice view early in the morning with fresh tambunan oxygen. Worth to stay. Price is affordable. Staff is well mannered and well behave.

Very good place to stay if you planning to stay in tambunan area , very quiet. But be mindful early in the morning around 8/9 am might disturbed by cleaning noise because this hotel provide daily room service which is very good . They will replace your towels and anything that needed to be replaced .

So far staying here was a great choice , parking area very big and private which u will not need to worry if anything happen to your car because CCTV 24h.

Things that need to improve is the water heater, pressure to strong and I even put the heater to max yet temperature still not increase, but the trick is u just need to adjust the water pressure and water temperature should be function properly .

This homestay is very clean highly...

We arrived in Borneo to do a road trip around the island taking in Orangutans and other reserves. Tambernan is about 2hrs drive from KK and the Paddy View is a clean cheap overnight stop. There is nothing on site except the rooms and being able to buy water, in reception . There are some eating places a short drive away but if your diet does not include local food then it's not for you, take food with you. We only managed to find one cafe that was even clean enough to try. There is nothing else to see round and about so one night was enough. I would return but be...
