I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the facilities at your hotel. I recently booked three rooms for myself and my family, and the experience was far from satisfactory. The problems started right from the moment we arrived at the hotel.
Firstly, the air conditioning in all of the rooms we booked was extremely moldy and caused us to have stuffy noses and sore throats throughout our stay. This is completely unacceptable and can have serious health implications for guests.
Secondly, the buffet that we paid for was lackluster, with not much variety of food choices available, and to our surprise, there were no eggs which is a staple for any breakfast buffet. This made our dining experience very unappetizing and disappointing.
Thirdly, the pillow and bed were extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult for us to get a good night's sleep. For the high price that we paid for the rooms, we expected better quality beds and pillows.
Fourthly, we requested a hair dryer from the front desk, but were told that they didn't provide hair dryers for guests to use. However, to our surprise, we saw another guest returning a hair dryer to the front desk, which was very frustrating as we were lied to about the availability of hair dryers.
Lastly, the price we paid for such poor quality facilities was exorbitant. It is unacceptable that your hotel charges such a high price for subpar facilities.
It is clear that the management of the hotel is lacking in quality control and there seems to be no competition in the area, which allows you to charge high prices without offering quality facilities. I strongly urge you to take immediate action to renovate and upgrade your facilities. Your guests deserve a better experience and it is your responsibility to provide it.
In summary, I am extremely disappointed with my experience at your hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. I hope that you take my feedback seriously and take steps to improve your facilities...
Read moreThe hotel was a combination of a hotel and a shopping mall. It was great that they have SCR and Sugar Bun or Pezzo on the same floor as the lobby at. The hotel room was okay, clean and all except for the fact that the television was so blurry. Need to ask at the front desk for the iron and only gave us an hour before returning it. Need to pay a ringgit for an extra towel, not stingy just the fact that other hotel did not make us pay for it. It is in the middle of the town, infront of it is a market, and u can walk and cross the street to the foodcourt and to some restaurants. Walk further of the foodcourt, there's a night market that sells food, I went on saturday and doesnt know if its open everyday or not. Oh, a note for early sleepers, there's a pub on the building, and the room's walls doesnt really thicc enough to block the music, my room was on the third floor and facing the river, and we started to hear the noises at late 9pm. Nonetheless, the view from my room was beautiful, and the purple sunset was mesmerizing. side note: there's a mosque next to the hotel and u can go there by walk, also next to it...
Read morePurnama hotel has been a landmark of Limbang for so many years now; it is the first thing that stands out at you as you drive into town along the waterfront. Unfortunately, this hotel is in dire need of a renovation - a tasteful one. The last one did not do it justice. It's true when they say it's the small things that matter; one thing that irks me was how the sockets were positioned at the coffee/beverage station that forces your phone cable to do some contortionist act should you choose to plug in there. Also; no full-length mirrors. The windows were also reminescent of a POW-camp cell window. Irons and ironing boards will not be provided for use in your own room; instead, you will be glad to find that this hotel lets you relive your days in a boarding school by letting you queue up to iron your attire - in the HALLWAY. (Let's not even mention the stacks of laundry bags next to the ironing station) The management has become so complacent due to the lack of healthy competition. One more interesting fact: there's no room...
