Mayangsari Resort Dungun — Hotel in Dungun

No wonder last review for this place is 2018, this is because the place is waiting to shutdown, Only garden view homestay exist, the other place already closed, pool seem like long time ago already closed. The counter service only available one staff but everything do it manually, the place also look scary at night, but luckily nothing happened during our stay. The garden view room nice, clean, big size, the aircond look old, toilet heater also can't use, flush only half day can use, after that broken, fridge function, tv channel also just standard. Ok la,better than nothing, just stay one night. If you plan to go to Dungun,find other place instead, unless you don't mind to stay with the basic amenities without any intertaintment surrounding the area. Dungun also place that you need to bring a lot of money, they are expect you are all tourist very rich eventhough you are also from Malaysia, because they have 2 prices, one for their town/state and another one is from other state/tourist. Their charges is more than if you spend at Selangor or even KL. So, if you wants visit to this town, you should standby with the higher...

I accommodated at Room 703, Garden Villa from 8 - 10 October 2016.||||Checked out on, 11th October at 5.15am.||||My review and conclusion of my stay is as follows:|||| ||• My worst ever hotel that I have ever accommodated||• Pricy for the class and hotel facilities||• The moment I stepped in to the room…horrible smell and toilet was not flushed||• Condition of room and mattress really horrible...........indeed rundown||• WIFI only at lobby area||• Breakfast is only served from 730am onwards. So what happens if you are on a business trip where need to depart the hotel by 7am????||• Water pressure horrible||• Provide an iron without an iron board||• No phone in the room||• Still got stain at the spoon and cup when I wanted to make coffee.||• Not worth for the price||• Better and cheaper hotels nearby such as Sea view Inn/ UITM Hotel / Homestay's||||If only the booking was not done via a travel agent, I would have checked out and walked in into...

We arrived at the resort around 9.30pm hoping to just retire after a long tiring day. Upon checking in, the lady at the counter told us that she was happy to upgrade us all to a Garden Villa as the Water Villa units do not have water heater. We were all grateful until we found out that the Villa is actually a single story house with 4 rooms of which 2 are attached to a shared bathroom. Not exactly what we were expecting. ||||Rooms were very tired looking, the toilet attached to my room was dirty, heater was not working, the sink faucet was all rusty not to mention how mouldy the floor was. Another colleague found a snail in her bathroom! I'm definitely not...
