Hotel Rosmerah — Hotel in Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council

The only reason why we checked in here is because we wanted to stay somewhere near our brother at the Malacca Multimedia University in Bukit Beruang.||Located in the heart of Bukit Beruang which is about 20 minutes from Jonker Walk. Quite a distance from town but it's fine if you are on the way exiting Malacca via Ayer Keroh. ||Conveniently located in a row of shops and next to their own mamak restaurant. Karaoke, 7-11, barber, convenience shops, arab food, pizza hut, stalls are all nearby. ||Check in was fast. No elevator! I've been to a 3 storey budget hotel in Segamat that has an elevator. ||Took the superior queen. Room was clean but basic. Not spacious. Standard tv channels. Mineral water provided. Kettle and coffee/tea provided. Toilet was clean but no toiletries/vanity kit other than refillable soap gel.||Breakfast vouchers of RM5 per person provided. You can cash it for a lovely mamak breakfast next to the hotel. The food at the mamak restaurant was OK.||Overall the hotel was adequate but can definitely be improved. In front of MMU. Been here for third time already. Solo travel, families travel and friends travel. Easy to go here, by bus also can. From Melaka Sentral, take bus to MMU. walking distance to any restaurants. Just take bus to go to MITC, Batu Berendam, and to the city back (if you are not driving here). So far for me, it is okay. Bad experience! No elevator at the hotel! Need to climb stairs and not recommended for elderly. Bad smell! The worst thing is, the receptionist can’t speak Bahasa and English! to the manager, how can u hire someone who can’t speak well in Bahasa and English! It’s struggling when you communicated with him!
