Please don't waste your time to even think about this hotel as a choice to stay. It has the worst ever facilities and it's worth to be demolished now. Arriving at the scene, the main lobby looks so worn out, as if it just opened after a few years closed down.|The reception seems to be friendly, but no clear information is provided unless it is asked ! The lady was just trying to avoid any conversation. The bellman/caddy was very friendly and helpful, courteous enough to explain the surroundings while driving us to the villa, we booked 2 villas( three bedroom & 2 bedroom ) which were allocated nearby. Arriving at the scene of the villa, it's was a total disaster !!|1) The room was infested with so much of black ants which was crawling on the beds and toilet bowl. |2) The bedsheets and pillow case had foul smells as if the room was made up months ago and not inspected till someone checks in.|3) Just imagine, finding a baby scorpion in the bathtub area crawling around! Yes !! its was a scorpion in the bathroom|4) Heavy grouting works needed in the bathroom and there were so many lizards dropping around.|Understand, this is a resort, but doesn't mean the rooms are left behind to rot and insects crawling around.|The stairs of the villa are so dangerous, which is a safety hazard. No lights on till it gets very dark, the timer needs to be adjusted or put a switch, the guest can switch it on by themselves. The stairs carpet edge has worn out and carpets are dirty.|The rooms TV is so old fashioned, which i believe the anttena has broken. Please check our villa tv and fix it. I believe other villa has bigger TV's compare to us. As we were walking by, we could see oth villa rooms had larger tv then us. ||The hotel has a gym which will be opened upon request, dont dare to go in, with the creepy over grown dirty area.|The swimming pool is the only place for an activity in the resort, although the pool is big, it is also the biggest potential hazardous area. The pool is surrounded by sharp edged stones which caused a heavy bleeding for my 3 yr niece while swimming in the kids pool. Someone can easily be injured with the stones in the pool. Try it by yourself, if you think I'm lying.||There were 2 babies, each 1 year old travelling with us. We needed mineral water to make baby food, so upon asking for additional mineral water, we were shocked to learn that, it is an additional RM 3. Just imagine, we paid RM 9 for an additional 3 btls.||At night, its very creepy to hear sounds of someone walking above the ceiling, although all of us were downstairs. This might be just superstitious for someone staying in a resort which was so run down. It's just disbelief, how the HIGHER MANAGEMENT OR OWNERS just allow the hotel to run in this condition.||FYI, we have paid RM 3260 for a stay which is merely the same values of a rundown rented house.||FYA, I would like to have a word with your GM or any of the higher management to contact me to discuss the refund of my stay. Please do contact me...
Read moreWe organized a 2 days team building for a client. Here are the experiences that I can recall.
Breakfast will only be served from 7.30am.
Day 1 breakfast was 'burned' mee goreng. Smell was strong.
I think they don't have their kitchen and banquet staff since the lockdown. Because their workers were foreigners wearing black t-shirt and pants. Not hotel attire. They had a supervisor (local lady) who was dressed like going to the wet market on a Sunday morning. She was bossing the staffs as though they were idiots infront of the guest. Their mistake was not collecting the breakfast coupon from the guests before allowing them to have breakfast. Not professional. I suspect they were external caterers.
On Friday, lunch was not ready at 12pm. The Muslim males needed to eat before heading to the mosque. Guest was already at the hall but buffet line was not ready. My colleagues had to help the hotel staffs to carry the food dishes since they were understaffed.
Evening was bbq dinner. The hotel technical staff (foreigner wearing shorts) was trying to turn on the wind curtain for the ballroom. For this he was using a long stick. He knocked a switch and blacked out the whole ballroom. A while later they got it back on.
There was no housekeeping staff that attended to our rooms. We stayed 2 nights. No one cleaned the room, made the beds, or replenished the coffee, tea, drinking water. We had to buy our own bottle water.
Ballroom lighting was bad. When we asked them to turn on the remaining lights (see photo), they said that it will cause a blackout. Thus we had to resort to a dim room.
During our outdoors we saw 2 girls wearing Philea shirt walking around and taking photos of our participants and the activities. When I approached them and ask what were they doing. They said that the sales person of the hotel asked them to take for their marketing purpose. I asked if they got permission to do so, they said no. I told them to stop taking or using any of the photos.
The next day they positioned a staff specifically to collect their breakfast coupon. When I arrived, I saw the staff turning back a few guest to ask them to bring their coupon which they left in the room. I took the liberty to overrule that and asked the guests (who were our participants) to go ahead and have their breakfast. They were all wearing company tshirts. They were the only group in the whole resort. Some of the rooms were really far. Most hotels today only request room number at the breakfast.
At that breakfast the rice of the nasi lemak had a spoil smell and sticky.
One of the evening when my colleagues requested for the buggy services, the front office said that buggy service is only for check in and check out. My colleague changed her communication mode and the buggy arrived.
This place use to be great. Over the years, it started to go downhill and I guess lockdown hit them hard. I suspect they do not have staffs and are running with temporary or low cost...
Read moreHonestly this is a nice place. Okay 5 star hotel. But I don’t know why it’s being managed by 1-star front desk. It is indeed a very unpleasant stay.
My sole intention of booking this place was to relax and chill but I ended up being agitated and annoyed. I booked this place via booking.com for RM649.09 for a king size bed. However, 2 single bed were given. This would’ve costed only rm500+ on booking.com. I double confirmed with the front desk before checking in whether it’s a king size she assured that it was.
I requested for shower gels at night I was told by the receptionist that it’s already provided for. It was an unfriendly call. And I had to make a second call to request because it was not sent to me within 20 minutes. So I had to wait in total of 30 minutes for the shower gel.
Lastly and most importantly, i was charged again by this resort for RM680.00. Two transactions were made just for one night. I had to check with them the next morning. As usual, the staffs didn’t seem to know what’s going on and said it is RM680.00. I explained that I had paid RM649.09 to booking.com and I was asked to call booking.com to clarify instead of them making the necessary clarifications. Upon checking, it was found that it is a mistake made by this hotel because they’re not familiar with their system. And now I have to wait for 2 weeks for them to cancel this charged fees after all the hassle and drama on a morning I was supposed to relax.
I requested for 2 bottle of water, I was again told that charges will be applicable.
I have never stayed in a hotel where I needed to make 2 separate payments on a booking platform and to the hotel itself. The entire experience is just very unpleasant. With the staffs constantly confused and not sure with what they’re doing.
Even checking in took more than 20 minutes because they couldn’t find the booking and payment I made to booking.com.
I hope the management takes serious attention on how their staffs are conducting themselves. I will now have to make sure that the additional charges will be waived off. Due to their...
