Havona Hotel @ Bandar Putra Kulai — Hotel in Johor

I was quite disappointed with my recent stay. Check-in time was supposed to be at 2PM, but I only received my room around 3PM. When I finally got into the room, there was no water supply. After checking with the receptionist, I was told the issue would be fixed in about two hours, but the water only came back around 7PM, almost five hours later. The next morning, I politely asked if I could get a late check-out as a recovery for the inconvenience, but was told “no” because the hotel uses a self check-in kiosk system that automatically deducts the deposit for late check-outs. It’s quite disappointing that the hotel couldn’t offer any gesture of apology or flexibility, even though the problem was clearly on their side. To make things worse, there was loud knocking and drilling early in the morning (around 7AM) from maintenance work on my floor, which disturbed my sleep. Overall, this stay was not worth the value I paid for, especially since I booked two rooms. The experience was frustrating, with poor handling of basic facilities, lack of recovery, and inconsiderate maintenance timing. I truly hope the management improves their service and guest care...

Great place to stay if you're heading to Senai Airport for an early flight. I've booked a few times as the price is affordable and the rooms are always very clean.
