ID Hotel (Yayasan) — Hotel in Johor

Went to this hotel during Raya. They definitely hiked the prices up for the festivities. We'll talk about if the pricing was for normal season.

For it's offering price the place is definitely a nice one, near a KFC, with a laundromat and 7-eleven next door is pick this place over the hotel in the same row. Being a little on the inner shops, they have more parkings and in my opinion better security. Coupled with 24 hour shop nearby, it definitely gives some peace of mind parking here. Keep in mind, the area is considered new development. Perhaps when more shops open, the lighting and ease of mind feeling of the nearby hotel would increase. But definitely 5 on this one.

For a budget hotel, this hotel was surprisingly good! The room was clean, there were soap and towels available, plenty of empty dustbins. Coffee mugs, instant coffee, and mineral water were provided as well. We didnt book prior to arriving, but there were rooms available and the receptionist was helpful. For muslims they already stated which direction is arah kiblat in the room. Great...

The hotel room is comfortable despite the location is very near to the roadside, our stay was not interrupted by the noise from the vehicles passing by. The only thing that bothered us was the smell of smoke (ciggy smokes). The hotel reeks with it. Right from the reception to every path in the hotel.
