Kanopi Tipi Glamping, Desaru — Hotel in Johor

Super super bad, the owner attitude is rediculous and simply charging additional to us 1 day before we arrive at the place. We were told that the hotel Amerald (next to the glamping area) charging us additional RM50 each room (we booked 7 rooms and 1 tent), total 17 people) due to 16 September is public holiday. The point is we booked with the owner 1 month in advance. The price agreed and the final price he charged doesn't tally at all. When we contacted the hotel, they told us they are not charging us any additional cost, it was charged by the glamping owner, but the owner told us it is charged by the hotel which he is obviously lying to us. When we called him before we arrive and asked him then who should we pay to, he said pay to him additional RM350 for 7 rooms we booked. If it is charged by the hotel, why do we need to pay him not the hotel? Then at last he said "fine, you guys want to pay then pay, don't want to pay then up to you!". I was so speechless about the attitude.

During the night, we were told that they can't provide the campfire but it was already being charged and paid. The next day, when we tried to call the owner to get the refund of RM200 for the campfire, he said we had additional 1 pax which is not true and simply said he will deduct the RM200 for the additional pax in an extremely rude way. I don't think he know how to run the business and it isn't worth single cent to pay a visit and enjoy the stay when you encounter such a rude owner. Please everyone who would like to book a stay, do re-consider somewhere else, don't waste your money and time.

As a frequent traveller, this is the first time I encounter such a cheeky person who tries to earn more in such a ridiculous way.

I knew the owner is going to deny all his bad attitude and ridiculous way of treating the guest. I don't get anything to write this review beside just want all the visitors to be more careful when they spend their money. He even called us after this review posted, asking why did we write such a 'nasty' review about his business? We are the customer, we got the right to voice out our experience, if you don't want to receive any bad review and probably ruin your entire business, I think you better to review your management style to run the business, rather than calling and asking people why.

We were from New Zealand and we wanted some where it was hot and next to the beach and wasn't to crowded One of our friends from Malaysia told us about this Kanopi Tipi Camp so we thought we would try it there were 3 Families of 4 We took a chance and booked We are glad we did The Camp site was clean They had separate showers for men and woman with hot water They offered BBQ meals at very good prices They had fun things to do for the kids The Tipi had a cooling fan and light and electrical sockets for other things There were two big water slides which the kids loved There was camp fire at night and everyone in the camp joined in and started singing it was great We would definitely recommend This Glamping Site www. First of all, you guys need to change the address in this google maps. Second, the swimming pool and the big slide need to be repaired asap because i think it was one of your attractions.
