Lakeview Terrace Resort, Pengerang Johor — Hotel in Johor

The room is in very bad condition (we stayed in Room 219)z The whole room is in dilapidated condition… The towels are dirty, the bed linens are grey/yellowish, the floor tiles were also peeling off.. The worst is water from the tap is yellowish. Toilet bowl seat was also yellow. They don even bother to clean the room for us (the aircon and floor were dirty too). I don even know how we survived a night stay with kids. We cant even wash the milk bottles with the tap water and the kettle was also rusty.. We only experienced the tap water issue at night abt 10ish after we got back w the kids and they were alr asleep. This was really the trigger point for us. We dont want to be bothered by the lack of cleanliness of the room but for the tap water to be yellowish… In the morning, trail of ants were also seen crawling in our toilet..

We asked for a change of room the nx day and requested for a refund for the other 2 nights if the room they offered were still as bad (we paid for 3 nights - and if basic liveable needs are not even met, why shld we continue to stay and pay for the other 2 nights). They said they fixed our room (aka fixed the tap water and cleaned the room). Oh my, they shld have cleaned the room properly before passing the room keys to us (this showed that they didnt even bother to check if the room is in proper condition). They passed us keys for other rooms and offered to change cos their hotel policy doesnt allow them to refund as we had already stayed a night.. The other rooms were not any better. Room 730 light bulbs fused once we turned them on and Room 728 were also infested with ants.

Not recommended for fam or with kids. I don even think this is a 4 star hotel. Prob 1/2 star? The wifi is also weak w limited connection. This is the worst ever resort we have stayed. Pls see the photos for urself. I was so affected after seeing the yellowish water that I cant wait to get out...

I had stayed in Lakeview Terrace for about two weeks in September. For some reason, I wasn't really feeling comfortable in Sebana Cove Resort and since there weren't any other decent hotels in the vicinity, I decided to move into this property. |I quite liked the apartment styled rooms. There was a separate cozy area for the bed, and another area with two tables for work and dinner (there wasn't a kitchenette though). The bathroom was quite spaceous. All the rooms have normal split ACs, and everything else that you'd need for normal business travel. The rooms and really clean and well maintained. The staff was really helpful and courteous, though I would say that they are usually understaffed during the night, so the nice lady at the reception has to take care of everything after 11PM or so. Food at the restaurant had quite a few western options and it was pretty tasty too. The breakfast spread was okay, nothing too fancy. ||The only downside was that you have to walk in the open from the main gate to the reception or to your rooms, which is kind of a problem if it's raining. And it rains a lot in Pengerang. And the lake of Lakeview Terrace wasn't really that impressive to look at.||Overall, I quite enjoyed my stay at the hotel, and I would choose to stay here if I ever go back...

The place quite scary at night 😂 our resort infront of the lake which is nobody ard us 😂. The breakfast oky hor but not so good. Our room not clean got dusk above the bed the toilet got so many insect web all of tht. Then when we make coffee walaooo u need to change the coffee taste so bad then when we use the kettle can use one time cause the next day we wanna use alr broke 🥲 so we buy instead of telling them cause no point wasting time hahaha phone cannot be use 🤭 only for display i guess ! Once we throw the rubbish all the ants come inside the room and make colonies there and yes we hv to clean it and decide to biy some insect spray 🙂. Hopefully you guys can clean and wash everything first before let ur customer in like 30min early you guys shud clean test all the things first before lettin ur customer in! But overall quite fun and relxaxing cause its away from everything & not noisy at all peacefully happy !!! Ohh !! The fish&chip is rm28 but then food like 10-15ringgit fish&chip 😭😭😭 kena scam wooo i hope the chef will improvise and recreate the food taste all the food so tht we all satisfied with the food!
