I stayed 436 - 2 nights, checked in 24th Dec 2024.
We came here because of golf tournament. I have hired a babysitter the next day to stay with the kids while me n my husband out for tournaments the whole day.
Concierge was very polite with big smiles and greetings. They assist us with our luggages. I wanted to apologies again to the boy, we went and mert our other families members at the lobby and we didn't know that the concierge does not have master key enter the room and put the luggage first.
Parking- i do not like the parking only for one reason. Weaver ants, its a lot. When you park near to the tree it just went into your car. I have small kids and its not good at all.
Check in process wasn't that smooth, a bit slow. I requested for second key for my babysitter the next day and was rejected straight away. Mind you, i have called a week earlier to confirm whether there will be any problem in regards to that situation. They expect my kids with the babysitter stayed in the room from 1030am till 1030pm? They unable to go out if they don't have a keycard to access to the room later.
The main keycard ill be holding to it because ill be back pass my kid's bedtime. Should i be ringing the doorbell by the time we reached to the room? I don't think we need to explain, if they wanted to charge extra deposit on the second card they should just mentioned it. Not rejected it immediately.
Room- my door are hard to open, it stucks to the core! Had a massive leaking in front of the toilet door on the second day stayed. But have called for them to assist. Problem solved fast. Bath tub dirty. But what i like in the wc is that they have separates section for shower and toilet bowl area.
Phone- i cant use the phone in the room, the first night we are planning to order room service but nah waste of time figuring out the phone. During the leaks happened, i have inform them about the phone. But phone problem not solve and didnt as follow up question during check out.
Spa- i wish there is more slots available and they open a bit earlier rather than at 1pm.
Breakfast- Paid for breakfast the second day stayed. Menu are variety but not really tasty. The nasi lemak not really good, omelette are plain, porridge are good and tasty after i mix it up with the condiment and miso soup too.
Play area- They do provide playarea, abit far from reception and a bit scary but its clean and small. Just nice.
Extra bed - expensive. it costs RM120 nett per night with breakfast. If compare to other hotels this is expensive.
Breakfast Vouchers Purchase - slowwwww second day i bought breakfast voucher at the reception counter, it took me solid 12 minutes just to buy it. Too slow and she keeps on correcting me. I do not know why. I know my child's age better than you. I was saying i need extra 1 adult and 2 children breakfast. my third child is 3 years old (she said its free). She keeps on mentioning about 1 child breakfast while i keep on saying TWO! but when i said two, she said the 3 years old is free. i mentioned i need extra for my other 2 children 9 and 10. Its repeated for 3 times. How annoying.
Please do note that i do not raise my voice in all situations except during check in keycard request. But i am not angry as i do not raise my voice too high because my kid's at the fountain didnt hear me.
Checkout- okay je la. I checked out at 1140am and it was smooth and fast.
Will i ever come back again? Probably yes if the tournament held at the same place. I think the hotel need some refurbishment. You are only surviving because of those people are coming with golf reason or maybe government events. Other than that people are not...
Read moreTerrible Experience – This Hotel Doesn’t Deserve Four StarsI had a truly disappointing stay at this hotel. From the moment we checked in late at night and entered room 496, the problems began. The room looked old and unkempt, with a stuffy atmosphere and an air conditioner that barely worked. Since we arrived late, we tried to bear with it for the night, but things only got worse. The bathroom and toilet were in separate areas, both looking very old and poorly maintained. There was visible dust, cracks in the sink, and even water leaking in the toilet. The next day, the room felt like a sauna — blowing hot air instead of cold. Although we reported this, the technicians only provided a temporary fix. The room quickly returned to its stuffy, uncomfortable state, and no one followed up.After insisting, we were moved to another room (room 293), which was a long walk from the main area. Sadly, this room was just as bad. It was gloomy and dim, with non-functioning lights in the bathroom and living area. The lampshades were covered in dust, making it feel more like a set for a horror movie than a hotel room. Even though the aircon worked here, the overall atmosphere was depressing. To make it worse, the TV in the new room didn’t even offer Netflix — something the previous room had. When I asked the front desk, they casually said, “not all rooms have it.” This shows a lack of standardization and quality control.I saw the hotel mentioned there will be a renovation plan, but I have some doubts since major renovations can be very costly. It’s hard to know how seriously or soon they’ll follow through, so I’d take those replies with caution. Also, my friend had an allergic reaction during our stay — the room was dusty and disturbed her a lot. She even developed a rash on her hand, so cleanliness seems to be an issue too.In summary, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.Reasons:The rooms are old and poorly maintained.Dusty environment — not suitable for those with allergies.General cleanliness is lacking. No sign of post-COVID renovations or upkeep.Breakfast was very limited — many 4-star hotels in KL are far better.Staff and technicians struggle with English — which can be a challenge if you don’t speak Malay.I paid for a pleasant, relaxing stay but ended up with a frustrating experience filled with complaints, wasted time, and room changes. Save your money and...
Read more(this review is from a 12-year-old based on what they thought about it) |I just wanna say a gentle reminder that I haven't told any of the management on how I felt about it, but I'm just saying on what I felt about it. ||What I really liked about this hotel was that it was quite big, and the palm trees were really nice around the hotel. It made it look like good, pretty scenery when you looked outside the balconies. I also liked how you could walk around the place, and having a large golfing range around your area! It looked very interesting. ||The bathrooms. They could be better, mainly the shower and the bath that I had during my stay. When I was in the bath, the paint started to peel off, and there was tape indicating that something had happened to it. The shower I guess wasn't so very warm, and it was mostly cold. It also was quite strong - it isn't a bad thing, a strong shower is quite nice sometimes, but what I'm trying to say is that it went out quite far, and it was spraying a bit on the shower glass door. ||Secondly, the balconies. I was having a walk around with my family, and as I was walking around, I saw that the balconies looked a bit... old/outdated. It didn't look great, and some of the walls that were around also seemed like that it was crispy and very old. Also while I was on this walk, I saw a olympic-sized pool along with this... I guess I should say jungle rope thing? I never knew these things were there, so the advertising could be more...noticeable. But the olympic sized pool looked really nice and a good pool to swim in. ||The spa is really nice, but I didn't exactly like how the people there took really long on the nails - don't take me wrong, the people there were really nice, but they always tried to make it look perfect and right. They did sometimes redo it, and don't you think that's a bit of a waste...? But I really enjoyed it, and they have good colors for nails. ||So overall, I did enjoy my stay; it's just that there could be some renovating of the hotel - just saying that also perhaps it would look more like a 5-star hotel if you did the renovating. Speaking of 5-star hotels, I am just saying that maybe ponder on this - is this hotel really a 5-star standard hotel? Does it meet the things that would...
