Big Orange Hotel Jitra — Hotel in Kedah

I stayed for 7 nights at this hotel as i have some matters to do in Jitra. The price of room is cheaper than the hotel i usually stayed at as it has government rate and a plus point of a daily breakfast that comes together.

Though the breakfast is a simple one, consisting of nasi lemak, normal toasts and some half boiled eggs, but it is considered a good deal as the price is quite cheap.

The location is also great as it is just by the roadside. There's a coined laundry that operates 8am to 10pm just beside the hotel and a good cafe behind the hotel directly.

The building behind the hotel is Jitra Mall amd u can enjoy yourself a fun and relaxing bowling games. Although the mall is dying, but the bowling alley is filled with people.. so no need to worry..

This would be my go to hotel the next time i have business to do in Jitra 😁 (Oh one more thing, the reason why i gave 4 stars for the room is because the praying space is quite small for a 5ft6' tall 😅.. u kinda have to arrange...

This is a simple basic hotel with generally clean beds and room with simple free breakfast. It does not have a safe, wardrobe or basic amenities like shampoo, conditioner and bath soap. The one hand soap is used for all! Housekeeping is provided daily with 2 free bottles of water only if you request it. ||The problem with the hotel is that it is located on the corner of a busy road. The windows are not soundproof so you can basically hear every vehicle passing by at night. The only relatively quiet time is between 3-4am! Also there are many mosquitos in the room. You're best to buy a mosquito repellant and put it on day and night. Unfortunately you will be bitten anyway.||Overall, it is probably one of the better hotels in Jitra. It is simple clean and cheap. The hotel cannot control the traffic noise but would be best if they look into getting rid of...

Stayed in this hotel regularly due to business trip. The hotel room comes with very basic amenities, but it is ok given the price is reasonably low. Hotel room are kept clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly, room service are swift. Location wise, it is situated between the new and old town area, very convenient for eating outside as well as groceries shopping.
