Outstanding Staff Recognition – Mei Ting, Fuller Hotel Kulim
I would like to sincerely commend Mei Ting, a staff member at Fuller Hotel Kulim, for her outstanding service that went far beyond expectations. Her actions deserve to be recognized and rewarded by the hotel management.
During my recent stay, I wanted to surprise a friend for her birthday at exactly midnight. The birthday cake was in my car, which was parked in a spot visible from our room window. I couldn’t retrieve it myself without spoiling the surprise, as my friend was watching from the window.
I turned to Mei Ting for help, and what happened next truly left me speechless.
Even though her shift was ending at 12am, she didn’t hesitate for a second. She kindly offered to handle everything. At exactly midnight, she went to my car, got the cake, prepared it beautifully, and brought it to my room at the perfect moment — all before heading home. She did all this quietly, without expecting anything in return.
This level of dedication, thoughtfulness, and personal effort is extremely rare. Mei Ting made the night incredibly special for us, and it's clear that she takes immense pride in her work and in creating memorable experiences for guests.
I strongly believe Mei Ting deserves formal recognition for her exceptional service. Staff like her are what set a hotel apart and create loyal guests who will always return.

the worst experience at this hotel. The elevator got stuck for 2 HOURS with 13 people inside, including kids and a baby who were nearly unconscious due to the heat and lack of air. We called the hotel management for help, but they only said they were "going to repair it" and did nothing urgent.
After waiting in distress, we had to call the fire department (Bomba) ourselves. The moment management found out Bomba was involved, they suddenly rushed to help. Turns out, there was an accessible hatch on top of the lift that they could have used from the start. This means they could have rescued us earlier but chose not to.
To make it worse, they didn’t even apologize after the incident. The level of negligence and lack of responsibility is shocking. If you care about your safety and your family’s well-being, AVOID this hotel at all costs.

And now My room got electric trip at 3.30am and I went down informed the receptionist but that guy was so arrogant told me that the management will be here tomorrow morning only and there no rooms available right now He didnt took any insensitive to come up and check my room luckily the guard came up took photo as everything was fine when he came to my room Hope management should take action night shift receptionist who not responsible and didnt even bothered to check my room
