We stayed as a family in their limited connecting rooms. 1 triple room and 1 twin room. We got to know that they offer great rate for senior citizens. RM146 for triple and RM112 for the twin room. Inclusive of breakfast for 5. Even cheaper than member’s price on all online websites. |As we insisted on connecting rooms they had to give us room on the 2nd floor. There was no lift so we had to climb the stairs. My parents had a hard time. There was also no bellboy so we had to carry everything on our own. |The rooms were all clean and comfortable. The furnishings were dated but it’s not a big deal for us as we got a good price. Sleep quality was good although the pillows were thick enough to give me mild stiff neck. |The bathroom had basic amenities. You have to adjust knobs on the shower to get your water temp preference. One of the room’s aircond leaked badly. It was quite late but they said they’d send security? to check on it. After some time they called telling us nobody can do maintenance so wanted to change us to another room. We decided not to change room and share the aircond of the other connected room. TV only had national channels. I guess the ASTRO View only served as props on the desk. |Breakfast was average. Not much choice but basic menu were there. Good considering price you paid. Pool was under maintenance when we there. |Overall it was an OK stay. Considering price paid it was a bargain. As Kulim is quite a small town and you do not have much choice with the price, I would return and recommend...
Read morePros: Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location was pretty strategic given it was close to local rural areas for aidilfitri. An iron and ironing board was supplied to each room so that was good to prepare for aidilfitri. I called maintenance to fix the AC in my room and it was repaired within the same day. That was good.
Cons: Overall infrastructure was quite poor. The hotel had 2 floors. Could've installed an elevator instead of customers carrying heavy luggage up the stairs. Breakfast was very basic. It would've been better to cut the cost on breakfast and let customers eat outside. I'm pretty sure the orange juice was mixed with mango juice or cordial as it was too sweet. I had to go to the clinic when I got home to get a cream as I've been bitten by bed bugs. On an accident I saw a bed bug crawling on my pillow. The AC was faced directly to blast on the headboard of the bed. I wouldn't be surprised if customers would wake up sneezing heavily. I could not use the telephone installed in my room as it was broken. I had to use my own mobile phone to call reception to fix the leaking AC in my room.
Overall: It's sad enough that the infrastructure is bad, but please at least maintain the quality of safety and health for the customers in terms of the rooms. I'm not sure about other branches, but I would recommend everyone NOT...

Air cond is spit unit. Not centralize. Took some times to cooled the room.
No toiletries. Only shampoo n soap. No toothbrush, tootpaste
Amenities is poor. Bed cover is dirty. Tiles kotor, x nampak mcm hotel. Bilik air kotor. Lips jamban lama x tukar. Shower pkai yg biasa bukan yg centralize. Cabling shower berjuntai dan bahaya short circuit
No freeze at all.
There is pricelist for all room equipments. Might be klau rosak, etc, guest need to pay that amount. Super mahal. Iron rm 250, tv rm 2500. Funny
Telefon dial '0' or '1' for reception (main teka je sbb xde guidance) tak berangkat. Call pkai handphone to the hotel hotline, tnye problem telefon, die ckp mmg ade mslh utk reception. Its true call '0' for reception tp ade masalah line. Masa check in tiada dimaklumkan.
Breakfast not bad. Standard utk harga hote rm 120 ke bawah.
Kolam kotor, x maintain, menyedihkan.
Ive been checked in many hotels and this is the worst. Rm 120 for this, i could get even better.
To the management, sedar diri. Tq.
