G Langkawi Motel — Hotel in Langkawi Island

Stayed three nights at the hotel over new year celebrations. It’s a lovely hotel very modern and clean. The staff are very helpful, polite and speak very good English. There is also a shop attached similar to 7/11.||My room was a twin on suite which was very comfortable with water, tea / coffee making facilities , snacks are also provided and bathroom towels. the tv had at least one film channel which was in English, then again I didn’t stay on Langkawi to watch tv. The WiFi was acceptable although when the hotel is full it did slow down considerably. If you want the room cleaned everyday just put the card on the outside of your door. ||So if your life depends on being connected you might want to rethink, as Langkawi shops restaurants etc also don’t provide WiFi at all. For me it was an added bonus to put the phone away for a few days and yes my life continued.||Draw backs location is a little remote and the hotel is quite a distance from the beach or shops. However the taxi service is good and reasonably priced. Hire car and scooters can be arranged by hotel.||There is a duty free shopping mall and cineplex within walking distance about 15 mins away, where you can exchange money at good rates. On the way there are also several places to eat and I can recommend any of the Indian curry places, good food very reasonable in price. ||In summary a great place to stay with plenty of things to do...

First of all, you all can read other hotel's reviews of mine at TripAdvisor, never, I never write such a bad review for the hotel I've stayed.| |The reason we choose this hotel (even far from the Cenang beach and others attractions) is their quiet environment.But this hotel have a very lousy management. They let the other guest organized their own party in front of the main entrance, yes, you didn't see wrong, over 50 ppls gathered and organized their own party at the main entrance of the motel!! |For us, who stay at the ground floor(the family suite just located next to the main entrance), was disturbed by their terrible screaming sound from 8pm until 12am+. Been complained to counter but nothing changed. We, as a guest of this motel too, paid but can't rest well. |Yes, the hotel have right to allow party at their property, but is that correct to do in this way? You can always inform others that you will have such function at your places and ask other guests to cancel the booking if we found this is not suitable for us. |No next time for us, and for you all, please consider carefully before choosing this motel unless you feel happy disturbing by noisy sound until midnight since the private terribly noisy party is always allowed at...

I was actually staying at the hotel next door during my stay in Langkawi, but used the hotels 24 hour mini mart most days it was really well stocked and good value, the reason I am writing this review is because I needed to print out a ferry boarding pass but could not find an internet cafe local and my own hotel would not help, so on the off chance I asked at the G Motel Langkawi which was just next door, they couldn't have been more helpful gave me their email address for me to email document over this didn't seem to work but they didn't want to give up there they then gave me a number to message the document over to which worked, they printed it out but the format ment only half the page printed out so the girl then patiently fiddled about untill it was exactly right for me, then to top it all off they wouldn't take any money off me for the print out, I didn't stay at this hotel but based on how helpful the girls at reception are I think I maybe...
