The rooms are clean but very small with few facilities for what you pay. No TV, no fridge, no toilet paper, no kettle, but you are paying for a 4 star hotel. Very expensive by Malaysian standards. The hotel is in a great location, near the fishing village with lots of food options and options for water taxis and tours. The view from the front rooms upstairs is spectacular. We stayed for 5 nights and were given a hill view room but there is no view. It fits 2 people (cramped) but we are 3. We had to change rooms and pay more. The service was terrible. 1 girl smiled but nobody else smiled or seemed to want to help. The food was atrocious, we ordered a curry that had no flavour (actually tasted like keens curry powder only, no spices) and the rice was stale and lumpy. My husband ordered a burger that looked amazing in the picture but was worse than McDonald’s or a frozen supermarket burger. The snorkelling out the front of the hotel next door was great, so many nemos. Make sure you get a boat from the fishing village - cheaper and better service. You can usually get their number and contact them when you want to go somewhere. Nice view and seating area downstairs. There is also construction going on where they are building new rooms, but there is no discount for the noise and dust everywhere. I wouldn’t recommend, there are plenty of other places that are cheaper with better facilities. The location was our favourite thing. Wifi not great, especially from the rooms

Came here from 22th to 24th September 2022 the experience is really nice except the hospitality paid for a package RM280/person Inclusive 2x breakfast and accomodation also 5 point of island hoping . The beach is extremely beautiful the food is really expensive as they shipped from the land to the island but not at the kampung nelayan small town which you can eat for much lesser price . walking distance from here to the small town.taxi fare to the long beach is different among boat drivers.some of them is friendly and some you might say arrogant and quite harsh.different to langkawi or pangkor here not so much you can get except the view and the stunning beaches.can try hiking to kincir angin which is not well preserved and yet youll miss the place when you leave.from jetty to the island takes about half an hour and for the checkpoint is lesser than that.those who have older people using wheelchair is not recommended.

I came here NOT ON SCHOOL/FESTIVE HOLIDAY. I personally give 5 stars & I recommend for those who want to relax & easy access to beautiful beach. The room was clean & tidy, with soap, shampoo & clean towel. They provide water dispenser & iron at level 2 (need to share with other rooms too). The room has no TV which is fine cause you dont need it when you have beautiful beach outside your window. The restaurant serves nice food with standard KL price. Every morning they have roti canai stall, this one must try. Walkable to fisherman village, many food options from local to western menu you can get with reasonble price from morning to late night. The beach, MAGNIFICIENT. You can snorkel here & find many types of fish sometimes you can spot a nemo. ❤️ Overall I sastified & will come here again.
