Laguna Bidara Beach Resort — Hotel in Malacca

Overall the hotel is not managed well. We called before arriving and was told the room is ready but upon arrival we found out that it was not and had to wait for almost 2 hours till 4pm. we booked the chalet for 2 nights||||Was disappointed with the pool condition. The pool is not maintained. The adult pool water was in green colour and the children pool is in milkish colour. I didn't even let my kids near the pool. When we asked the reception counter, we were told that the occupancy is high so they cant maintain the pool. Such a poor response. ||||upon arriving the to chalet, some of the lights were not working. 2nd room aircond was not working. we call the reception and informed and was told will send in the maintenance team to have a look. No one showed up.||||we dropped by the reception on our way to the beach, asked again and we can notice that they are getting irritated with us. probably we are the only one with high expectation. So we stopped asking. Maintenance didnt show up until we checked out. All of us had to squeeze into the balance 2 rooms due to this A/c failure. Bathrooms were all run down. not maintained.||||There were alot of monkeys and messing up with the trash bin from previous occupant. the whole place becomes like a dump yard and started to smell. we called the reception to complaint again and the rubbish started to smell. But no one came to clean till the next day. ||||The beach was so so only. not that great since it not a private beach. The breakfast was also not that great. ||||Overall experience was very bad and disappointing. will not recommend or come again. For such resort, even the staff doesn't have a uniform. So you dont even know who is the staff and...

Held a reunion with my ex officemate, total of 14 adults. Book a few months earlier, but take hours for registration before we could get in. Upon walk into the room, it was sandy. There is a few died insect on the bed. The bed also not clean. It was dusty. Go the front desk twice, asking housekeeping to come. but no one came. Also no towels provided. They promise to send us towels on 11pm. But still no one came. My friend room was full of cockroaches. Had to go to the nearby town get some insect spray. She got a full dust pan with cockroaches, caterpillar and small snake in ger hunt is her room! The kids pool water was smurky. The same colour with 100 plus. 🤢 upon breakfast, the taste was ok. But the service so damn slow. Reach their cafe at 9am, nothing left. Had to wait long before they refilled. Their front desk worker, worked as kitchen assistant, cleaner and maybe chef assistant. I felt sorry for their workers. The place is low price, we can tolerate with facility and servicing but not to cleaness! Their management had to go to intense hotel servicing and housekeeping training. Will never come again unless new management take over....

Tanjung bidara resort was a fair place to stay. It has a beautiful scenery but if we look inside was not beautiful as it should be. The staff was not friendly at all. Very rude. Don't have respect to the customer especially on the front desk. They are not professional at all in giving the service to customers as well as handle a customer's problem. We stay in vvip room n there was not at all like vvip. Worst service n hospitality. There is no hotel towel in the room at all. The AC was not functioning well. Smelly room n bed. Toilet water pressure was really bad. Some of my colleagues room the AC not functioning at all. We called the maintenance n the service was late. Totally unacceptable. Breakfast was not good. The staff over the counter was rude n not professional at all. For the hotel management u need to do a lot of improvement regarding ur services as well as the room. Alot of upgrades need to be done. As overall this is not worth of money....
