NS Rainbow Cottage Pool Pengkalan Balak — Hotel in Malacca

I stayed here for two nights, and overall, the place is okay. It’s located away from crowded areas, making it quite peaceful. The location is easily accessible, and parking is within a gated compound, so there’s no need to park elsewhere. There’s also a swimming pool, which is great for kids—it’s not too deep, making it safe for them to play and swim. However, there are areas that need improvement:

The unit has two queen beds, suitable for a family of four, but the bedsheets don’t fully cover the mattress, only the surface. The blanket is also quite small and doesn’t comfortably fit two people.

After flushing, the toilet water doesn’t refill automatically, so we had to fill it manually.

The shower has a leakage, causing water to drip nonstop.

The curtain doesn’t fully cover the window, which compromises privacy since people can still see inside.

There’s a large gap under the door, allowing insects to come in. We had to manually cover the hole to keep bugs out.

The air conditioning only covers the lower area, while the upper area relies on a fan. And if we increase the temperature, people who are at the lower area will be freezing 🥶

Appreciative: Lokasi berhampiran dengan pesisir pantai Pangkalan Balak. Mudah untuk dijumpai (tepi jalan sahaja). Ada pintu kecil dikawasan belakang homestay yang boleh digunakan untuk ke kawasan pantai (kurang 10 minit jalan kaki) Laman yang luas. Ada 6 rumah berasingan (berlainan warna), sangat sesuai untuk keluarga yang besar berkumpul. Sebuah rumah boleh menempatkan sehingga 4 dewasa + 2 kanak2. Split level (ada loteng). Cuma berhati2 bila menggunakan tangga. Kemudahan kolam renang saiz sederhana (sesuai untuk kanak2) Kemudahan wifi Kemudahan dapur untuk memasak, lengkap dengan peti sejuk, coway, perkakasan rumah. Juga ada kemudahan BBQ.

Constructive:

Rumah ungu - tekanan air shower yang sederhana (kadang2 perlahan). Sinki juga ada kebocoran. Ada rumah lain yang melaporkan sinki tersumbat, lampu tandas tidak menyala, pintu tandas tersekat2 Harap dapat sediakan papan memotong untuk penyediaan bahan2 memasak. Berkesempatan menginap di NS Rainbow cottage untuk satu malam. Konsep bilik menarik, ada 2 katil queen dgn unit kedua seperti diatas loteng. Anak2 happy sangat2.. dapat 'bilik" diatas loteng 😊.. dlm bilik ada 2 kipas, syiling n wall fan dan ada juga 1 unit penghawa dingin. Kolam pun ada 2, yg kedalamannya kedua2nya amatlah kids friendly. Kolam berada betul2 depan pintu bilik, so xyah la nak berebut2 cari tempat duduk utk memantau.. lepak depan pintu bilik pun dah boleh pantau.. keliling kolam pun diletak turf carpet buatkan tepi2 kolam nmpk bersih sgt2.. Basic facility ada like iron, water filter, jug kettle, towel, syampo n shower gel pun ada disediakan. Just nice la utk family yg maybe less than 20 dewasa.. kedai2 makan pun byk berhampiran.. overall stay saya sgt memuaskan la.. ada kesempatan inshaallah...
