Budget Hotel Seri Intan Tampin, Malacca — Hotel in Negeri Sembilan

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. I booked my room via Agoda, and the listing did not mention that the room would have no window, nor did it state that I needed to make a special request for a room with a window.

When I arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in time, I was told that all rooms with windows had already been reserved. The staff claimed that other guests had “requested” windowed rooms in advance. However, this is extremely unfair — because there was no instruction or option on Agoda to request a window, and clearly, some guests were given priority just for calling in.

I was given no option or solution — just told that window rooms were no longer available. Meanwhile, some guests who hadn’t even checked in yet were still able to get rooms with windows.

This experience was frustrating and felt very unfair. I strongly urge the hotel to be more transparent about room types on booking platforms and treat guests more equally based on their arrival time, not just on who made phone calls. I would not recommend this hotel based on...

Bad: Thin walls & inconsiderate neighbours laughing chatting at night (11pm-3am) Can hear others playing music, snoring, commotion after 2am. Musky smell in toilet upon check in, uneven tiles thus big pool of water in middle that wont flow downwards to drain. Only one bin in room & none in toilet. They named this as budget hotel. Nonsense!! I gave everything 10stars. From the price, receptionist, environment, location and even the water pressure!! The abg at the reception counter is very friendly....
