Stayed here for 1 night in a superior twin room @ 170myr / £31.||||Overall, it was a pleasant stay. All of the Housekeeping, security, front desk, restaurant and pool attendants we spoke with were very nice. We would return for a short stay in the future.||||Tons of free parking available and whilst the pool is not huge its big enough for a few laps. It is also nice that the kid and adult pools are segregated a bit in my opinion.||||The room itself was clean and of a decent standard. The AC was good, the wifi was decent and it was fairly spacious. Its a tiny bit dated, and if you look carefully and nit pick you can find a few issues such as light switches not working, room phone not dialing, old fixtures in the bathroom and sealant/fascia coming away on the sink. None of this was a major issue though and hard to complain at this price.||||Breakfast was included but I assume due to not having enough guests it was not a buffet, but a set menu. We had Nasi Lemak and it whilst it was tasty, the protein was quite small and bony. This is not unique to this hotel though so maybe I need to adjust to local portion sizes instead lol.||||Gym was very good for a hotel gym. Clean and with decent equipment including a few free weights. AC works to an adequate standard.||||Beach is right at the rear of the hotel. Water was quite rough on our visit and there were a few dirty spots (e.g. what looked like a smokers area with tons of discarded butts). Its OK but hard to rate the beach as I did not stay long enough.||||We did not go golfing so no...
Read moreDo not bother coming here. ||Filthy, waited over 2 hours for our beach view room as it was getting cleaned they said...we finally get our room and walk in to a dirty toe nail, rice on floor, hair, mould and dust balls, i was totally disgusted and showed the bag man who quickly just went and got a broom and acted like it was fine. The pool is literally falling to pieces ..tiles broken through all the pools but especially the kids pool, no pool side lounges or chairs besides 4 old wooden ones, Cafe never opened, the beach also has nothing but a few old old Bali huts. Also no drinking or bars or alcohol allowed. When I asked the staff where the pool chairs were so I could sit and read a book was told no they don't do that (Muslim hotel) when asked about if I could go buy some wine and bring it here they said definitely not. When I asked what we can even do here as it's literally in the middle of no where (came here as my partner went on a fishing charter down the road) she said ride a bike or walk around and play golf...that was all she could recommend!!!! ||Never ever stay here unless you want your kids toes ripped open in the pool, to sit on concrete around a pool, or rusty nails/timber in a old Bali hut at the beach or walk on someone else's dirty toe nails and hair. Also mould all around the fridge and timber. Photos as proof posted below! Gross! This place should...
Read moreIt's school holidays, a season where the management should have expected to receive lake of visitors if not sea. Instead of preparing well for it, the management treated like we are still in mco period. I was told they were short of staffs for housekeeping ( only 6, can u imagine that) resulting in late check in. If only we can check out late (to make up for all the wasted time waiting for the rooms), but thinking about the next guests coming in and of course we will be charged extra if we do that. 2 hours (waiting)was not short ok. Pity the elders and the kids|The room was not throughly clean, of course when all the staffs were rushing to tidy up other rooms. There were still rotten drinks n food in the fridge, the blanket, the towels were all smelly..please management, do som3thing for the sake of the resort continuity.|The good thing is, the staffs working there were polite. They just need more training to deal with unexpected occurence...
