Frustrations. A lot of frustrations.|We made a lunch booking for 27pax, we travelled by bus as we were having our team building in Janda Baik. And we got recommended by locals to have lunch there as they served good food. |It was still all good, I had informed 6 days earlier that we want the lunch to be served at 12noon, knowing that some of our team members need to catch a flight. I made payment via direct transfer (knowing that 27pax didnt cost less) to confirm my booking and all. I even informed again on the day before we need the lunch to be served at 1145am as we really need to catch some time. UNTIL the real thing comes, where we were all ready to visit Saufiville. In the middle of the journey, I whatsapped the PIC that we would be reaching in 10mins time. He replied:"Okay." A few minutes later, he said:"Lunch will be served at 1230pm." My anger was reaching up. We were already not on time, I expect we could reach there have our lunch rest a while and catch back some time. And then we reached the junction to enter the road to Saufiville. We were not informed that the bus actually could not enter the as the road is so narrow and the electric cables are all hanging low along the road. I quickly made a call to the PIC, well, it failed me few times where I started to get panic. So he answered:"oh you were riding a bus, ya, bus cannot enter. I will arrange a truck to pick you up at the junction." That was just a few minutes past 12noon. Fine, I got out from the bus, standing at the junction to make sure the truck saw me. Guess what? The truck reached at 1230pm!!! I waited there, rain drizzling, for 20+ mins! In between, I called the PIC, then only realize he was actually not station in Janda Baik, he was just relaying message to the operational staff in Saufiville. The first thing this staff said was:"Oh, you didnt book the truck earlier. That's why we didnt arrange." Well, DO WE KNOW THAT? WE DONT LIVE IN Janda Baik. Anger level plus 2. Fine, payment had been made, I couldnt run away. So, when we finally reached Saufiville, we were STILL NOT WELCOMED WITH FOOD. Nobody comes to greet us or whatsoever, we were left unattended as the truck driver went down to pick up the second batch. I had to knock the door of the kitchen, asked the lady when can the lunch be served? She said:"10 more mins." Anger level plus 3. It was already 1240pm. SUPER NOT PUNCTUAL AND SUPER EXCEEDED THE AGREED TIME! So finally the food were served, we had to swallow the food as we were running out of time. 27pax, I actually booked an extra pax for the bus driver. I had informed the truck driver, to pick up the bus driver so that he could have lunch with us. Guess what? Truck driver dropped the second batch, and went to no where that I can see. Eventually, bus driver was not being picked up, i was left with embarassment. In between, I had to call the PIC to get the phone number of the truck driver, but at the same time bus driver called me and said he didnt want to wait anymore and he would settle lunch himself. Back to the food, 27pax but then 2 of my colleagues were not feeling well so they didnt actually take the food and bus driver didnt come and have lunch too. There should be surplus in food for 3 pax. Guess what? FOOD SUPPLY INSUFFICIENT! I knocked the kitchen door again, ask if there were anymore food to refill, the lady said:"These are all." I made the payment, and I couldnt fill my tummy well. Is that even right? I AM SUPER PISSED. I PAID MY MONEY ON TIME, YOU ALSO DIDNT PREPARE THE MEAL ON TIME and DIDNT COOK ENOUGH FOOD FOR 27pax! I should have take a picture of the food served, we are not big eaters, 75% are ladies and they dont eat much. The staff are all hiding in the kitchen, I felt so not welcomed. This is ridiculous! Read moreWe booked the whole bungalow for our big family gathering.
Pool was okay, the water sourced from natural water reservoir up the mountain so it looks a like dirty actually it is not dirty. That is the color of natural mountain sourced water. It was not too deep and not too shallow just enough level for kids and adult to swim freely.
First night we got water supply problem because the tank had run out of water and the pump was accidentally switched off because we didn't get briefed about the pump switch which was in the same gang as the toilet and bathroom's switch. After about 1 hour we got back our water supply.
The second night we run out of water again because the hilltop pump broken and they got no supply to our side of bungalows toilet. Luckily they use other source for the crew side of bungalow so we had to go out of the bungalow to use the crew's bathroom. It was not fixed until the next morning. They tried to fill up the tank using their side's water source but it was unsuccessful.
Climbing up to the bungalow is a bit challenging, going down is more challenging. Use low gear and make sure you had your car temperature checked before climbing. Use your horn to signal incoming vehicle to wait at the roadside closest clearance to prevent collision.
Mobile reception at the bungalow is very good (celcom 4g). They got no wifi. The electrical power is not a luxury here so switch on your room's lighting before dark ic you don't want to have your room filled with blinking lights.
Foods just enough, nothing got wasted nothing insufficient.
The view was magnificent. Air conditioning are for display only. It was all broken they said.
This a bungalow needs better maintenance and some renovation.
We got ants anywhere. Don't leave your foods uncovered if you don't want to try the good taste of ants.
The toilet and bathroom are smelly and got lot of dusts, sand and soil.
It was a waste of great place and environment if they keep the same maintenance and cleaning routine. They need to...
