GM Holiday Hotel (former GM holiday inn) — Hotel in Perak

I stayed here two times (Nov and Dec) and my experience was very good both times. GM Holiday Hotel is located in Lumut (Sitiawan - Lumut main road), a 10-minute drive from Teluk Batik, a 3-minute drive from Lumut Terminal Jetty, а 2-3 minutes from Lumut bus station and a 10-minute drive from Marina Island. ||||Hotel features a 24-hour front desk and air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV. Small yet cozy rooms come with modern interiors and warm lighting. All are fitted with an en suite bathroom with shower facilities. Toiletries and a hairdryer are provided as well. Free Wi-Fi and parking are also provided.||||The biggest issue that I think they should try to resolve is the sound-proofing of the rooms. Another drawback is noisy doors. Nothing great to shout about but a considerably decent place to pull over for a night before heading to pangkor island as the location is a mere 5 minutes drive to the jetty. Bedroom size is quiet small but comfortable enough to fit all of us ( 2 adult with 2 kids). Bed is comfy and room is clean. Staff are friendly and accommodating. |If you are traveling with young kids like me, I will recommend a stop the aeon formerly known as ( JJ) where you will find a big inflatable playground on the ground floor. We stayed here for one night. ||The room was very clean with a lovely comfy big bed. ||There were toiletries in the bathroom but no toilet roll so remember to bring your own. ||The WiFi was good and fast. ||The tv only really had one channel that was watchable. ||There are food stalls a 5 min walk across the road, please note this the road is very busy and isn’t lit well at night. ||On checkout we couldn’t get a taxi / grab , the receptionist took us to the jetty...
