First time having a short holiday in Lumut and surveyed surrounding area to find some 'off the beaten path' place to have dinner. This place does fit the bill. Not many tables here. Parking space was decent and the wait time for your food to be cooked is quite awhile when the tables are almost full. Now for the food, overall it was average at best but because the seafood was fresh it turn out good plus the portion was big enough to make my whole family full. Price wise we spent not more then rm15 per person. If you are passing by the area, this spot is worth a stop.

They say this is the spot to be, as they serve u fresh catches of the day. Be advised if u come late 8pm +, they might be out of stock for fishes. On to the food review, I'm no expert but generally ok, the deep fried squid was crunchy and nice though the oil reused can be seen from discoloration. Environment definitely not very comfortable as mosquitos are a plenty and they burn egg cartons that just create smoke everywhere which I'm pretty sure your doctor won't be too happy to hear.

I had a nice experience eating here with my husband. We ordered ketam sambal and kari ikan sembilang out of the best selling menu items, and safe to say that the kari ikan sembilang was excellent. Please go a bit early if you had any plans to try this restaurant because it is quite near to a persingahan nelayan or like a pitstop so during maghrib and night the mosquitoes would be out of control.

Better go after 5 pm. We were here way too early. Food was not ready yet. But, we waited until 5 pm. We had mussels (very fresh), ikan senangin bakar (fish was fresh and big, they asked whether to take only half or whole fish, we took whole fish, couldn't finish. Ended up tapau). Cannot remember what else that we ordered. Finished everything. And still remember how good the mussels were. Will come again. Insya Allah. Because we ordered many things, they forgot to cook the crab. It's okay. There's always...

Pls do not mind my rating as I was there at 7.30 pm on Monday but was politely informed by the owner that the food has finished. My 1 sen thought is that the food must be wonderful as they ran out early despite website informed it close at 10 pm. They opened for business at 4 pm. The stall is really rustic and blend with the nearby fishermen parking area. Good to see when the fishermen unload their catch of the day. A real place you can " lepak" and enjoy the food and fishermen boats. Be mindful the...
