Hotel Kawan — Hotel in Perak

My humble advice is AVOID at all costs because your rights and physical safety could be VIOLATED!!!! Pay your good money to other hotels which have right-thinking employees,not those who take the law into their own hands and BULLY paying guests!!!||||The maintenance person,a TONY FONG or whatever he calls himself believes that VIOLENCE and MANHANDLING guests he thinks had violated his turf would solve whatever problems he perceived to be true. He hit me/snatched my bags and detained me at the hotel premises for over an hour after I had checked out because he believed I had vandalized the property but he had no evidence to prove his perception. It was just his word against mine LOL.||||Finally when I told him he had no legal rights to detain me I told him not to touch me and started my car engine. He hit my car key to turn off the engine. ||||I restarted the car to leave but he pushed the next door's Speedmart 99 TROLLEY to block my way. I simply drove into the trolley to get it off my path. Had I been nasty the foolish half-educated guy would have been seriously injured. He should by right thank me for being magnanimous and the hotel where NOTHING works should apologize to me for its staff's UNBECOMING behaviour toward a paying guest.||||However the hotel chose to be small-minded like its rough and rugged staff. I say to you,come on then. By right I should give this branch hotel...

Definitely a convenient place to stay in Tapah. Whole place is clean and housekeeping does an excellent job everyday. Friendly receptionist and they offer washing services at a very reasonable price. Convenient store just few steps away and a few places to eat including our favourite char kuey tiow. Was told that some rooms are without window so you may want to put up specific request for room type. Free parking is not available unfortunately but that in itself doesn't take anything away...

Nice spacious room with a view. Even ada HBO, Animal Planet, AXN and free TV channels. Nice washroom. Ada iron and board. They also have a water kettle, a fridge and 2 bottles of drinking water.

Ada a nice tikar sembahyang. Tapi I have to check my own kiblat sebab banyak hotel kiblat tak betul. This one betul though.
