OYO 89332 De Hotel — Hotel in Perak

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!!

This is my report to Agoda CS:

Referring to the above booking ID, I would like to lodge a formal complaint on the property.

I made the booking and paid the listed rate thru Agoda app. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was told they cannot provide me a room n honor my booking. Instead I was told to pay another RM120 on top of the amount that I already paid thru the app in order to secure a room.

This is clearly a daylight robbery by the property. Upon checking on the hotel review from previous guests, a lot had similar experience like me, to pay extra money to secure their room. This is totally unacceptable practice by the property.

I hope Agoda will review this property n consider remove it from Agoda due to their terrible reputation and practice.

And I want to be fully refunded for the amount paid to the property.

Worst hotel. I want to give them no star at all. The story is this. I paid the fees through agoda. But when I wanted to check in, the staf demanded me to pay extra RM24. This is not the contract I agreed with agoda. The staf told me to complain to agoda. There is no reason for me to complain because I had booked many hotels through agoda before and there is no such problem. In the end, I walked out and found myself another hotel. the uncle at the front office was very attentive to my request. last minute I requested for extra bed, and he tried to accommodate it. he even helps me to change the room and bring the mattress, prepare it in my room. despite of fully booked because it's Hari Raya, the uncle was very kind to help me. Iron board is in front of the stairs to use which is very convenient. the only weakness is no lift, so I think it's difficult if you travel with old folks or bring big luggage. the location is very near to town, about a 6-minute drive. a lot of parking in front...
